## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## New Mexico UCC Filings Scraper: Liens, Debtors & Lenders

Search New Mexico UCC filings by debtor name, secured party name or filing number and turn every match into a clean lien record. Each row gives you the debtor, the secured party or lender, the filing number, the record number, the filing and lapse dates, the lien status and the page count. It is built for MCA renewals, equipment finance, factoring, lender sales and pre-lending diligence. Filter by organization or individual debtor, city, state, filing date, lapse date, status and document type. Pay only for records delivered.

### What you get

Every record is flat, snake_case JSON with the fields a lending team actually uses.

- **Filing identity:** `filing_number`, `document_number`, `original_filing_number`, `record_number`, `record_id`, `record_type_raw`, `filing_type`, `filing_category`.
- **Dates and status:** `filing_date`, `filing_time`, `filing_year`, `lapse_date`, `days_to_lapse`, `lien_status`, `status_raw`, `is_lapsed`, `data_as_of`.
- **Parties:** `debtor_name`, `debtor_type`, `debtor_city`, `debtor_state`, `secured_party_name`, `secured_party_type`, `secured_party_city`, `secured_party_state`.
- **Document context:** `page_count`, `lien_type`, `is_amendment`.
- **Traceability:** `matched_name`, `matched_party_role`, `match_type`, `search_name`, `state`, `source`, `source_url`, `observed_at`, `confidence`.

New Mexico publishes no debtor or secured party street address in the free index, and no collateral text. Those details sit behind a login, so this Actor does not invent them. City and state are returned from the public debtor and secured party label. Page count is the only document-size field the free index exposes.

### Who is it for

- **MCA and alternative lenders** monitoring new UCC-1 filings for renewal, stacking and refinance signals.
- **Equipment finance and leasing teams** finding borrowers who just pledged equipment to another lender.
- **Factoring and invoice finance** teams watching for a new secured party on a debtor.
- **Commercial bankers and credit analysts** running UCC diligence on a borrower.
- **Data and RevOps teams** enriching CRM accounts with lien, lender and lapse data.

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **organization debtor names** in `debtorNames`, or **individual debtor names** in `individualDebtorNames`.
2. Optionally search by **secured party name** to see every borrower a lender has filed against.
3. Optionally enter exact **filing numbers** to pull a known UCC document.
4. Add a **debtor city**, a **debtor state**, a **filing date window**, a **lapse date window**, a **status** or a **document type**.
5. Choose whether to include **lapsed filings** and **amendment documents**.
6. Set **maximum filings** and run the Actor.
7. Download the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

New Mexico matches the name you enter against the public index. A short root such as `SMITH` finds more records than a full legal name. Use a full name for precision and a root for coverage. Filing number searches are exact.

### Coverage and freshness

- **Jurisdiction:** New Mexico only. Filings come from the Secretary of State public UCC index.
- **Document types:** original financing statements and amendment documents, including continuation, termination and assignment records where the state publishes them.
- **Status:** active, lapsed and terminated filings, with the published status preserved in `status_raw`.
- **Freshness:** `data_as_of` reports the date through which the state says it has processed UCC documents. The Actor reads that date on every run, so you can see the cutoff in the data.
- **Filters:** debtor name, individual debtor name, secured party name, individual secured party name, filing number, city, state, filing date window, lapse date window, debtor type, document type, lien status, lapsed toggle, amendment toggle and sort order.

The state does not publish collateral text, street addresses or full filing images in the free search. Those fields are not part of the output and are not guessed. Some filings name several debtors and several secured parties. The public list shows the first name in each role, so a name search can return a filing where your term belongs to another party on the same document.

### Pricing

- **$0.03 per result**, charged only when a UCC record is delivered.
- **$0.003 Actor start** charge per run, charged by the platform.
- **Free users** are limited to 10 results per run.
- No charge when the search returns no records or the source cannot be reached.

### FAQ

**Do I need an account with the state?** No. The Actor reads the public UCC index.

**Can I search by secured party?** Yes. Add a lender or finance company to `securedPartyNames` to see the debtors it has filed against.

**Are amendments included?** Yes, by default. Set `includeAmendments` to false to deliver only original financing statements.

**How do I find every document in a chain?** Search the debtor or the record number. The original filing and its amendments share `original_filing_number`, while `filing_number` is the document number for that specific row.

**Why is collateral empty?** New Mexico does not publish collateral text in the free index. The Actor returns the public fields instead of guessing.

**Does it work for lapsed filings?** Yes. `includeLapsed` is on by default, and `status` can narrow the output to lapsed, active or terminated records.

**Can I monitor new filings?** Yes. Set a short filing date window, save the run, and schedule it. New records appear in the dataset with their filing dates and lenders.
