## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## JobThai Scraper — Thailand jobs by keyword and province

Extract job ads from JobThai.com by keyword and province: title, company, province, district, job type, pay where stated as a figure, update date, URL. JSON, CSV or Excel.

### Three rows from a real run

| Title | Company | Location | Job type |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Driver | CHIEN LUEN INDUSTRIES (THAILAND) CO., LTD. | Plaeng Yao, Chachoengsao | Driving |
| Helper Driver | บริษัท สยามฟูด เซอร์วิส จำกัด | Khlong Toei, Bangkok | Driving |
| Driver Engineering | QMB Co.,Ltd. | Ban Bueng, Chon Buri | Engineering |

The default run (`searchTerms: ["driver"]`, `maxItems: 100`) on 22 October 2026 returned 100 rows in 22 seconds (of 2,588 driver jobs the site listed; 32 of the 100 rows carry pay as a figure) and costs $0.15 at $1.50 per 1,000 results.

JobThai is one of Thailand's largest job boards, from factory and driving jobs to office and engineering roles. This Actor turns its job list into a clean table: the job, the company, the district and province (and the industrial estate where the ad names one), the site's job type, the pay where it is given as a figure, and the date the ad was last updated.

Press Start. The defaults return the newest driver jobs in Thailand.

### What a row looks like

```json
{
  "title": "Driver",
  "company": "CHIEN LUEN INDUSTRIES (THAILAND) CO., LTD.",
  "location": "Plaeng Yao, Chachoengsao",
  "categories": ["Driving"],
  "posted_at": "2026-10-22",
  "source_url": "https://www.jobthai.com/en/job/1767911",
  "external_id": "1767911"
}
```

`company` is the employer as the site shows it. Business names only: a name that is or contains a person's name is left empty. Where the ad states pay as a figure ("16,000 - 18,000 THB", "400 THB (Daily)"), it is in `salary_min`, `salary_max`, `salary_currency` and `salary_period`; "Negotiable" or "Based on company's structure" leaves them empty. `posted_at` is the date JobThai shows the ad was last updated. The employer's own free-text work address is not collected, and no contact data is read.

Every row also carries `source_site` and `scraped_at`.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchTerms` | Keywords in English or Thai, e.g. `driver`, `accountant`. Each keyword is one search. Empty: every job. |
| `location` | One province in English, e.g. `Bangkok`, `Chon Buri`, `Chiang Mai`, or `Overseas`. Empty: the whole country. |
| `maxItems` | Stop after this many rows. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Off by default; not needed for this site. |

### How it works

The Actor reads the site's own job list page by page (20 jobs a page), pausing 2.5 seconds between requests, and never opens a job's page. Each page is checked against the search asked for. A keyword with no match, or a province the site does not list, returns no rows with a warning.

### Pricing

$1.50 per 1,000 results (event `result-item`), no start fee. Set a maximum charge per run in the run options to cap it.

### Good to know

- The data is what the site shows on the day of the run.
- Terms: JobThai's terms prohibit reproducing, copying or disseminating its content without its written consent; they say nothing on automated access, and its robots.txt allows the job list. Checked 22 October 2026. You are responsible for how you use the data.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Keywords in English or Thai, e.g. driver, accountant or พนักงานขาย. Each keyword is one search. Leave empty for every job.

## `location` (type: `string`):

One Thai province in English, e.g. Bangkok, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, Rayong, or Overseas. Leave empty for the whole country. A name the site does not list returns no rows, with a warning in the log.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many records. Keeps your cost predictable.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Off by default. Turn on (residential, in the site's country) only if runs start getting blocked with 403/429.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "driver"
  ],
  "location": "",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

All postings from this run: what the job is, who is hiring, and where.

## `employers` (type: `string`):

The same postings ordered around who is hiring.

## `runReport` (type: `string`):

Pages read, records delivered, errors, and the verdict (ok, degraded or broken).
