## Pricing

from $0.75 / 1,000 result items

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Polovni Automobili Scraper — Serbian used-car ads by make

Extract used-car listings from PolovniAutomobili.com (Serbia) by make: price, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, town, URL.

PolovniAutomobili.com is Serbia's largest car marketplace, with about 75,000
car ads live at any time. About half come from dealers and half from private
sellers. This Actor turns a make's search into a clean table: make, model,
year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, engine, power, the asking price, the town, and
whether a dealer or a private person is selling.

Press Start. The defaults return Škoda ads, with no configuration needed.

### What a row looks like

```json
{
  "title": "Škoda Octavia 1.6 tdi (može zamena)",
  "make": "Škoda",
  "model": "Octavia",
  "year": 2017,
  "mileage_km": 614000,
  "fuel_type": "Dizel",
  "gearbox": "Manuelni 5 brzina",
  "engine_capacity_ccm": 1598,
  "engine_power_hp": 116,
  "price": 7200,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "city": "Bačka Palanka",
  "seller_type": "private",
  "posted_at": "2026-09-21T14:41:59+02:00",
  "source_url": "https://www.polovniautomobili.com/auto-oglasi/30295608/skoda-octavia-16-tdi",
  "thumbnail_url": "https://cdn.polovniautomobili.com/user-images/thumbs/3029/30295608/7bbfad4deea5-370x278.jpg",
  "external_id": "30295608"
}
```

- **`price`** is the asking price in euros, as the site shows it. An ad with no
  price has no price, not a price of zero.
- **`fuel_type` and `gearbox`** keep the site's own Serbian words ("Dizel",
  "Benzin", "Automatski / poluautomatski").
- **`mileage_km`** is 0 for a new car.
- **Electric cars** have no engine volume, so `engine_capacity_ccm` is empty.

**No seller is named.** `seller_type` says `professional` when a dealer
account placed the ad, or `private` when a private person did. The dealer's
name, account number, page and logo are not published. Many dealer accounts
here are sole traders trading under their own name. The site's terms also rule
out collecting advertisers' details. This Actor never opens the ad page, where
the phone number is. A phone number or e-mail address typed into a title or a
town is removed. `seller_name` ships empty so that one parser works across
every car Actor here.

### When an ad was listed

`posted_at` is the time the ad was placed or last renewed ("lifted"), in
Belgrade time with its offset. This is the time the site sorts by. The site
does not show when an ad was first placed.

The site lists promoted ads first, then all other ads newest first. So with
`postedAfter` set, every page is filtered, and the crawl does not stop at the
first older page: a promoted ad can sit ahead of newer ones. Use `maxItems`, or
one make at a time, to keep such a run short.

### What people use it for

- Tracking asking prices for one make and model across Serbia, week by week.
- Comparing dealer and private-seller prices for the same car.
- Sourcing stock for a dealership or an export business.
- Counting how many Golfs or Octavias of a given year are on the market.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchTerms` | Car makes as the site lists them: `Škoda`, `Volkswagen`, `BMW`, `Mercedes Benz`, `Zastava` … (100 makes), or `ostalo` for every other make. `skoda`, `vw` and `mercedes` work too. Each make is its own search. Leave empty for every car on the site. A make the site does not list fails the run. |
| `postedAfter` | Only keep ads placed or renewed at or after this time (ISO 8601). |
| `sinceDays` | The same, as a rolling window: `1` keeps yesterday and today, `7` the last week. Set it once on a scheduled task and never edit the date again. |
| `maxItems` | Hard stop, so your bill is predictable. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Off by default. Most runs do not need one. |

### How much one run returns

The site serves 25 ads per page, and this Actor reads one page every 3
seconds, so 1,000 ads take about two minutes. A make's search runs to its end:
3,665 Škoda ads on 25 September 2026, 75,159 cars in total. Use `maxItems` to
keep a run short.

### Pricing

$1.50 per 1,000 listings, dropping to $0.75 per 1,000 on higher Apify plans,
plus $0.005 each time a run starts. Platform usage is not passed on to you.

You are charged for rows you actually receive. If you set a maximum charge for
the run, it stops cleanly at that limit instead of overshooting it.

### Scope and limits

Public listings only, from the site's own search pages
(`/auto-oglasi/pretraga`), which its robots.txt allows. The paths it
disallows (`/api/` and the account pages) are never requested.

The search is by make only. This Actor **cannot filter by place, model, price
or year**. The site drops any filter it does not recognise without saying so,
and no place filter could be verified. Each row carries the town, model, year
and price for you to filter on. The two paid "top" slots that repeat on every
page are not rows.

Every page is checked before its rows are used. The site reports which search
and which page it actually ran, and both must match what was asked. Otherwise
the run fails rather than returning rows you did not ask for and charging you
for them. This matters here: when the site does not recognise a filter, it
quietly redirects to page 1 of the search without it.

If PolovniAutomobili changes its page structure, the run goes red. It does not
return zero rows and report success. A silent scraper is worse than a broken
one, because you find out weeks later.

Every run also publishes the site's own result count next to the rows it
delivered, so you can see "100 rows of 3,665 the site reports". That number is
what the site says, not a promise about what one run returns.

### Same shape, other sites

This Actor shares its output shape with the other car Actors in this
catalogue: Otomoto (Poland), Standvirtual (Portugal), willhaben (Austria),
Kleinanzeigen (Germany) and Bazoš (Slovakia). A parser you write for one keeps
working on the others.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Makes as polovniautomobili.com lists them, e.g. Škoda, Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, Zastava, or 'ostalo' for every other make (skoda, vw and mercedes work too). Each make is its own search. Leave empty for every car on the site. A make the site does not list fails the run.

## `postedAfter` (type: `string`):

Return only ads placed or last renewed at or after this ISO 8601 date-time, e.g. 2026-09-20T00:00:00Z. The site lists promoted ads first, so the crawl filters every page instead of stopping early: keep Max items or the makes narrow.

## `sinceDays` (type: `integer`):

Keep only listings posted in the last N days, counted in UTC from the day the run starts: 1 = yesterday and today. Made for a daily schedule. Ignored when Posted after is set.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many listings. polovniautomobili.com serves 25 per page, one page every 3 seconds.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Off by default. Turn on (residential, Serbia) only if runs start getting blocked with 403/429.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "skoda"
  ],
  "postedAfter": "",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

All polovniautomobili.com car ads from this run: what the car is, what it costs, where it stands, and whether a dealer or a private person sells it.

## `pricing` (type: `string`):

The same listings reduced to the fields used for price analysis and market monitoring.

## `runReport` (type: `string`):

Pages read, records delivered, errors, and the verdict (ok, degraded or broken).
