## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Relocate.me Scraper — jobs abroad with relocation support

Extract jobs with relocation support from Relocate.me by keyword and country: title, company, city, country, URL. Tech and other roles worldwide.

### Three rows from a real run

| Title | Company | Location |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 1700+ Curated Visa Sponsorship and Remote Tech Jobs (Paid Option) | The Global Move | Remote |
| Backend Engineer | PayPay | Tokyo, Japan |
| Senior Software Engineer (Backend & Infrastructure) | HENNGE | Tokyo, Japan |

The default run (`searchTerms: ["engineer"]`, `maxItems: 100`) on 21 October 2026 returned 16 rows in 9 seconds and costs $0.02 at $1.50 per 1,000 results.

Relocate.me lists jobs whose employers help with moving abroad: visas, relocation packages and remote roles, mostly in tech. This Actor turns its job list into a clean table: the job, the company, and the city and country it is in. The site is small and hand-curated: 16 jobs matched the default search on the day of the example run.

Press Start. The defaults return engineer jobs in every country.

### What a row looks like

```json
{
  "title": "1700+ Curated Visa Sponsorship and Remote Tech Jobs (Paid Option)",
  "company": "The Global Move",
  "location": "Remote",
  "remote": true,
  "source_url": "https://relocate.me/remote/remote/the-global-move/1700-curated-visa-sponsorship-and-remote-tech-jobs-paid-option-10080",
  "external_id": "10080"
}
```

`company` is the employer as the site shows it. Business names only: a name that is or contains a person's name is left empty. The job text is not read, and no candidate data exists on the list or is collected.

Every row also carries `source_site` and `scraped_at`.

| Field | What it holds | How often it is filled (example run, 16 rows) |
|---|---|---|
| `title`, `company`, `location` | Job title; employer; city and country, or Remote | Always |
| `remote` | A remote job | Always |
| `source_url`, `external_id` | The job on Relocate.me, its id | Always |

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchTerms` | Keywords, e.g. `engineer`, `data`, `product manager`. Each keyword is one search. Empty: every job. |
| `location` | One country in English as the site lists it, e.g. `Netherlands`, `Germany`, `Japan`. Empty: every country. |
| `maxItems` | Stop after this many rows. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Off by default; not needed for this site. |

### How it works

The Actor reads the site's own job list page by page, pausing 2 seconds between requests, and never opens a job's page. When nothing matches, the site shows "0 jobs available" with a few suggested jobs from elsewhere; the Actor returns no rows then instead of passing the suggestions off as your search. The list shows no posting date, so there is no date filter: every row carries the job id, so a diff against your previous run gives you what is new.

### Pricing

$1.50 per 1,000 results (event `result-item`), no start fee. Set a maximum charge per run in the run options to cap it.

### Good to know

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Keywords, e.g. engineer, data or product manager. Each keyword is one search. Leave empty for every job.

## `location` (type: `string`):

One country in English as the site lists it, e.g. Netherlands, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom. Leave empty for every country.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many records. Keeps your cost predictable.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Off by default. Turn on (residential, in the site's country) only if runs start getting blocked with 403/429.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "engineer"
  ],
  "location": "",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

All listings from this run: what the car is, what it costs, and who is selling it.

## `pricing` (type: `string`):

The same listings reduced to the fields used for price analysis and market monitoring.

## `dealers` (type: `string`):

The same listings focused on who is selling them.

## `runReport` (type: `string`):

Pages read, records delivered, errors, and the verdict (ok, degraded or broken).
