## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Wayke Scraper — Swedish dealer cars by make and town

Extract dealer car listings from Wayke.se (Sweden) by make and town: price, year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, dealer, URL, newest first.

Wayke.se is a Swedish marketplace where car dealers list their stock: about
52,000 new and used cars, all from dealers. This Actor turns a make's search,
nationwide or around one town, into a clean table: make, model, the dealer's
headline, model year, mileage, fuel, gearbox, the cash price in SEK, and the
dealer and its town.

Press Start. The defaults return Volvos around Göteborg, with no configuration
needed.

### What a row looks like

```json
{
  "title": "Volvo XC60",
  "make": "Volvo",
  "model": "XC60",
  "version": "T6 Plus Black Nordic Edition",
  "year": 2026,
  "mileage_km": 10500,
  "fuel_type": "Bensin+El",
  "gearbox": "Automat",
  "price": 669600,
  "currency": "SEK",
  "city": "Kisa",
  "seller_name": "Skobes Bil Kisa",
  "seller_type": "professional",
  "dealer_id": "a0a5bc77-2c05-4a0e-a68a-a466a8c49ae0",
  "source_url": "https://www.wayke.se/objekt/5083763e-bd34-44d6-9566-08b1c6cac5aa",
  "thumbnail_url": "https://cdn.wayke.se/cfit/v3/0a285bc74f1a452aad6b4eaf2ab8f81d/3673825957824cc8b40de3010a2b7561",
  "external_id": "5083763e-bd34-44d6-9566-08b1c6cac5aa"
}
```

- **`price`** is the cash price in Swedish kronor, as the site shows it. A car
  offered on leasing only has no price, not a price of zero.
- **`mileage_km`** is in kilometres. The site counts most cars in Swedish
  *mil* (10 km), so 1,050 mil becomes 10,500 km. It is 0 for a new car.
- **`version`** is the dealer's own headline for the car: trim, engine,
  equipment.
- **`year`** is the model year.
- **`fuel_type` and `gearbox`** keep the site's own Swedish words ("Bensin",
  "Diesel", "El", "Bensin+El", "Automat", "Manuell").
- **`thumbnail_url`** is empty for the few cars listed without photos.

**Dealers only.** Every seller on Wayke is a dealer, so `seller_type` is always
`professional`. `seller_name` is the dealer branch's business name and
`dealer_id` its id on the site. No person is named: this Actor never opens the
ad page, which lists contact people. A phone number or e-mail address typed
into a headline is removed.

### No listing dates

The site sorts its lists newest first, but it does not show when a car was
listed. So there is no `posted_at`, and this Actor has no `postedAfter`
filter. Every row carries the site's own id, so comparing today's run with
yesterday's shows you what is new.

### What people use it for

- Watching a competitor's stock and prices across one region.
- Tracking asking prices for one make and model across Sweden, week by week.
- Sourcing stock for a dealership or an export business.
- Counting how many XC60s or Model Ys of a given year are for sale near a town.

### Input

| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| `searchTerms` | Car makes, e.g. `volvo`, `volkswagen`, `mercedes-benz`, `skoda`. `Škoda`, `VW` and `Mercedes` work too. Each make is its own search. Leave empty for every car on the site. A make the site does not know fails the run. |
| `location` | One Swedish town, e.g. `Göteborg`, `Stockholm`, `Malmö`, `Västerås`. The site searches 50 km around it. Leave empty for the whole country. A town the site does not know fails the run. |
| `maxItems` | Hard stop, so your bill is predictable. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | Off by default. Most runs do not need one. |

### How much one run returns

The site serves 24 cars per page, and this Actor reads one page every 3
seconds, so 1,000 cars take about two minutes. A search runs to its end. On
25 September 2026 the site counted 894 Volvos within 50 km of Göteborg, 8,161
Volvos in Sweden, and 52,456 cars in total. Use `maxItems` to keep a run short.

### Pricing

$1.50 per 1,000 listings, dropping to $0.75 per 1,000 on higher Apify plans,
plus $0.005 each time a run starts. Platform usage is not passed on to you.

You are charged for rows you actually receive. If you set a maximum charge for
the run, it stops cleanly at that limit instead of overshooting it.

### Scope and limits

Public listings only, from the site's own search pages (`/sok`), which its
robots.txt allows. The paths it disallows (`/api/`, deep `/sok/…/…/…/…`
paths, and the account pages) are never requested.

You can search by **make and town only**. This Actor **cannot filter by
model, price, year or fuel**. Each row carries those fields for you to filter
on. A town search covers 50 km around the town, so a Göteborg search also
lists dealers in Kungsbacka or Kungälv. `city` is always the dealer's own town.

Every page is checked before its rows are used. The site reports which make,
town and page it actually searched, and all three must match what was asked.
Otherwise the run fails rather than returning rows you did not ask for and
charging you for them. This matters here: when the site does not know a make or
a town, it quietly redirects to page 1 of the whole market.

If Wayke changes its page structure, the run goes red. It does not return zero
rows and report success. A silent scraper is worse than a broken one, because
you find out weeks later.

Every run also publishes the site's own result count next to the rows it
delivered, so you can see "100 rows of 894 the site reports". That number is
what the site says, not a promise about what one run returns.

### Same shape, other sites

This Actor shares its output shape with the other car Actors in this
catalogue: Otomoto (Poland), Standvirtual (Portugal), willhaben (Austria),
Kleinanzeigen (Germany), Bazoš (Slovakia) and PolovniAutomobili (Serbia). A
parser you write for one keeps working on the others.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchTerms` (type: `array`):

Makes as wayke.se writes them in its URLs, e.g. volvo, volkswagen, mercedes-benz, skoda (Škoda, VW and Mercedes work too). Each make is its own search. Leave empty for every car on the site. A make the site does not know fails the run instead of returning the whole market.

## `location` (type: `string`):

One Swedish town as wayke.se writes it, e.g. Göteborg, Stockholm, Malmö, Västerås (goteborg, gothenburg work too). The site searches 50 km around it. Leave empty for the whole country. A town the site does not know fails the run instead of returning unfiltered results.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many listings. wayke.se serves 24 per page, one page every 3 seconds.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Off by default. Turn on (residential, Sweden) only if runs start getting blocked with 403/429.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "volvo"
  ],
  "location": "Göteborg",
  "maxItems": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `overview` (type: `string`):

All wayke.se dealer cars from this run: what the car is, what it costs, and which dealer sells it where.

## `pricing` (type: `string`):

The same listings reduced to the fields used for price analysis and market monitoring.

## `dealers` (type: `string`):

The same listings focused on who is selling them.

## `runReport` (type: `string`):

Pages read, records delivered, errors, and the verdict (ok, degraded or broken).
