## Pricing

from $1.90 / 1,000 indeed jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Indeed Scraper – Jobs, Salaries & Full Descriptions

Scrape **Indeed** job listings in **40 countries** by keyword and location – or paste any Indeed URL. You get clean, structured jobs with **salary normalized to a yearly amount**, **full description and benefits**, **company rating**, remote / hybrid flag, seniority, department and skills. No Indeed account, no cookies, no API key.

**Why this Indeed scraper**

- 🔎 **Deep search** – Indeed shows logged-out visitors only one result page. This actor slices every search (posting date, job type, level, radius, sort order) and merges the slices, so you get **hundreds of unique jobs per search**, not 15.
- 💰 **Salaries you can compare** – Indeed salary (hourly, weekly, monthly, yearly) parsed into `salaryMin/Max`, `salaryPeriod`, plus `salaryYearlyMinEur/MaxEur` for cross-country comparison. Estimates are flagged.
- 📄 **Full job details** (optional) – complete description as text **and** HTML, benefits (health insurance, 401(k), remote…), job types, shifts & schedule, company logo, company page and address.
- 🏢 **Company data** – rating, review count, company page, optional **hiring signals** per company (open jobs, departments, locations, skills, median salary).
- 🧠 **Enriched for analysis** – remote / hybrid / onsite, seniority, department group and 65+ skills detected for each job.
- 🔔 **New-job alerts** – turn on *Only new jobs* and schedule it: each run returns just the jobs that appeared since the last run (and you are not charged twice).
- 🌍 **40 Indeed countries** – US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, India, Singapore, Brazil, Mexico and more.
- 🤖 **AI-agent ready** – use it from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through the [Apify MCP server](https://mcp.apify.com).

### How to use

1. Type one or more **job titles / keywords** (e.g. `registered nurse`, `data analyst`).
2. Add **locations** (city, state, ZIP) or leave empty for the whole country.
3. Pick the **Indeed country** and optional filters: posted within, job type, experience, remote, radius, minimum salary.
4. Run it and export to **Excel, CSV, JSON, Google Sheets**, or connect **Make, Zapier, n8n, Slack**.

Already have a search on Indeed with filters? Paste the URL into **Indeed URLs**.

### Pricing

Pay only for results (pay-per-event). Platform usage is included.

| Event | Free | Starter | Scale | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Indeed job (per 1,000) | $2.50 | $2.30 | $2.10 | **$1.90** |
| Full description & benefits add-on (per 1,000) | $5.50 | $5.20 | $4.90 | **$4.50** |

### Use cases

- **Recruiting & staffing agencies** – find companies hiring right now and contact them first.
- **Job market & salary research** – salary ranges per title, city and country.
- **Lead generation** – company hiring signals = companies with budget and need.
- **Job boards & aggregators** – fresh Indeed jobs with full descriptions for your site.
- **Job seekers** – daily alert of new jobs for your exact search.

### More job boards

Need LinkedIn, Glassdoor, StepStone, XING, Reed, Totaljobs or company career sites too? Use **[Job Scraper](https://apify.com/liveclaude/job-scraper)** – 20+ boards in one run with duplicates merged.

### FAQ

**Do I need an Indeed account or proxies?** No. Everything is included.

**How many jobs can I get per search?** Typically 100–400 unique jobs per keyword × location. Need more? Add more locations or keywords – each combination is searched separately.

**Is scraping Indeed legal?** The actor collects publicly visible job postings – the same information anyone sees without logging in. Make sure your use complies with applicable laws (e.g. GDPR) and Indeed's terms.

**Something broke?** Indeed changes often. Open an issue with the run ID and it will be fixed quickly.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

What to search on Indeed, one per line – e.g. `data analyst`, `nurse`, `python developer`. Every keyword is searched in every location.

## `locations` (type: `array`):

City, state, ZIP code or region – e.g. `New York`, `Austin, TX`, `London`, `Berlin`. Leave empty for the whole country.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which Indeed site to search (indeed.com, uk.indeed.com, de.indeed.com, …).

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste Indeed search result URLs (with any filters you set on Indeed) or single job URLs (`/viewjob?jk=…`).

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Loads each job page: full description (text + HTML), benefits, job types, shifts, company logo, company page and address. Charged as a separate event.

## `minJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Only companies with at least this many jobs get a signal record.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Schedule the actor (e.g. hourly or daily): each run returns only jobs that were not returned before for this monitor. Jobs already seen are not charged again.
