## Changelog

All dates are UTC. Build numbers are the Apify build that shipped the change.

### 2026-11-05

- Store copy rewritten.

### 2026-11-03

- New `startUrls` input: paste links from trends.google.com (explore or Trending Now pages). Terms, location, time range, category and search type are read from the link and win over the form fields, which fill in anything the link leaves out. Bad links end with a message, never a failed run. Output unchanged.

### 2026-11-01

- Restored the pre-24 Oct request handling: spaced requests with back-off on "too many requests", IP rotation, and a residential proxy fallback when Google keeps refusing. Output unchanged.

### 2026-10-24

- Polite requests only. Removed all proxy use and every form of getting past Google's rate limit: no IP, cookie or session rotation, no residential fallback, one request at a time. On "too many requests" the Actor waits (Retry-After when given, up to a minute), retries the same request twice, then stops and ends successfully with the rows collected so far and a clear message. The anonymous cookie is fetched once per run and never replaced. Output unchanged.

### 2026-10-18

- Faster starts: Trending Now and RSS requests no longer wait for Google's cookie (they don't need it), and a stuck cookie request is given up after 8 s instead of 20 s. The `SUMMARY` cost estimate now uses the real price ($1 per 1,000 rows; it used $2). Output unchanged.
- Store title, description and README rewritten: field table, real sample rows, what's free and limits up front.

### 2026-10-17

- Store title and description rewritten around the phrases buyers search for.

### 2026-10-16 (0.1.9-0.1.10)

- Price cut: $1 per 1,000 rows.
- Never ends as FAILED on a Google-side problem: the run keeps what it found, ends successfully and says what happened, with nothing charged when nothing came back.
- `onlyNew` memory store opens safely and only when `onlyNew` is on.

### 2026-10-15 (0.1.7-0.1.8)

- Maintenance builds (shared request code updated); output unchanged. Store title and description now state the price per 1,000 rows.

### 2026-10-14 (0.1.6)

- Store listing and README rewritten.

### 2026-10-13 (0.1.1-0.1.5)

- First release: interest over time and by region, related queries and topics, more than 5 terms on one scale through an anchor term, the full Trending Now list per country, `onlyNew` for Trending Now, and series or tidy output.
