## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AutoScout24 Scraper — European Used & New Car Listings

**Every used or new car on AutoScout24 in a market, as a table you can sort — make, model, variant, price as a number, mileage, fuel, gearbox, year, city, the selling dealer and link.**

AutoScout24 is Europe's largest car marketplace, and it is built to browse one listing at a time. This Actor turns a search into rows: name a country and get the whole result set back as structured data — full vehicle specs, price, location and the dealer behind each listing, all parsed and ready to work with.

No account, no API key, no cookies. It reads the same public listings a visitor browsing without an account sees.

**You pay per listing returned.** Markets that come back empty, and ones that fail, cost you nothing.

***

### Try it in 30 seconds

Put this in **Countries**, leave the rest default, hit Start:

```
Germany
Austria
```

A few hundred live used-car listings with real prices, mileage and dealer names, in one table.

***

### What you get per listing

```jsonc
{
  "listingId": "51af412b-1af8-410b-aa01-e70ad350e4ae",
  "make": "Audi",
  "model": "Q2",
  "variant": "35 TFSI",
  "title": "Audi Q2 35 TFSI",
  "price": 19450,                   // a number, ready to sort and compare
### Who uses this
**Dealers and traders.** Pull a market's inventory, sort by price or mileage, and spot what's under- or over-priced against the rest of the market — one spreadsheet instead of endless scrolling.
**Dealer lead generation.** Every listing carries the selling dealer's name. Filter to the makes and markets you care about and you have a list of dealers with live stock.
**Pricing and valuation.** Make, model, variant, mileage, year and price on every row — the fields a valuation model needs, parsed into numbers.
**Market research.** Same markets on a schedule, diff on `listingId`, and new listings and price changes fall out of the difference.
***
### What makes it different
**Price is a number.** `price: 19450`, not `"€ 19,450"` — so sorting, medians and price bands work the moment the run finishes.
**Full vehicle specs, parsed.** Make, model, variant, mileage in km, fuel, gearbox, registration — the fields that make listings comparable, not just a title string.
**The dealer on every row.** Name and type (dealer or private) — the field that makes it a lead tool.
**All of Europe in one Actor.** Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands — name a country and the right listings come back.
**No account, no key, no cookies.** Public listings only.
***
### Settings that matter
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Countries / markets** | One per line — `Germany`, `Austria`, `Italy`, `Spain`, `France`, `Belgium`, `Netherlands` |
| **Offer type** | Used, new, or both |
| **Make** | Limit to one make (BMW, Audi, VW…), or leave empty for all |
| **Min / max price** | In euros. Listings outside the band are dropped |
| **Min first-registration year** | Earliest registration year |
| **Max mileage** | Highest mileage in km |
| **Max results per market** | Caps how many listings each market returns |
| **Max pages per market** | How deep to read — 20 listings a page |
| **Proxy** | A European residential proxy is recommended so the site answers reliably |
### Automate it
```bash
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/YOUR_USERNAME~autoscout24-scraper/runs?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{ "countries": ["Germany", "Austria", "Italy"],
        "offerType": "used", "make": "BMW",
        "minPrice": 5000, "maxPrice": 25000, "maxMileage": 150000,
        "maxResults": 200,
        "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true, "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"] } }'
```
Works with Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets and the Apify API, and as an MCP tool for AI agents.
### Results you can trust
| `status` | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `ok` | A listing was returned — charged |
| `no_results` | The market was read fine, but nothing matched — not charged |
| `error` | A market couldn't be processed — retry it; not charged |
### FAQ
**Which markets work?**
Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium and the Netherlands — AutoScout24's main European markets. Name the country.
**Used cars or new?**
Both — set **Offer type**. `offerType` on each row tells you which.
**Can I filter by make?**
Yes — set **Make** to one brand. Leave it empty for all makes.
**Does it return the dealer?**
Yes — `dealerName` and `sellerType` on every listing. That's the lead-generation use.
**Do I need an account, an API key or cookies?**
No. It reads public listings only.
**How fresh is it?**
Read live at the moment of your run — `scrapedAt` records when, to the second. Listings may be stale or already sold; verify before you act.
### Terms of Use
This Actor collects publicly available car-listing information from AutoScout24 — the same listings a visitor browsing without an account can see. It does not sign in, use anyone's credentials, or require an API key.
This Actor is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to AutoScout24, AUTO1 Group or their owners, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
You are responsible for how you use the results, and for doing so lawfully and in line with the terms and regulations that apply to you — including AutoScout24's own terms of service, advertising rules, and data-protection law (GDPR) when you contact dealers. If your plans involve republishing listing content, contacting dealers, or building a competing product, check those terms before you start. Listing content belongs to the people and businesses who posted it.
Listings are returned as the source published them and may be inaccurate, stale or already sold by the time you read them — verify before you act. This Actor is provided "as is", without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
