- Reads the public product data coles.com.au loads in the browser (up to 240 products per request, all fields in one answer) through Apify Proxy; connections that Coles' bot protection refuses are replaced at once, slow answers are re-sent in parallel.
- Scopes: the whole catalogue (department list read live from the site), categories by URL / path / name, search terms, coles.com.au URLs (browse, on-special with `filter_Special`, half-price-specials, search, product pages) and product IDs.
- Specials: any special (incl. reduced to clear and while stocks last), half price, multibuy and online-only via Coles' own filters.
- Prices from the default online store or any Coles supermarket by store number or postcode (nearest store with online prices; stores without online prices are reported).
- Fixed sort order for paging (Coles' default order is not stable between requests and lost up to 14% of a category); queries returning fewer distinct products than reported are re-read in another order; per-query coverage in `SUMMARY`.
- Automatic splitting past Coles' 5,000-results-per-query limit; de-duplication by product number.
- Rows: price, was price, savings, promotion type and roundel label, multibuy deal maths, unit price, availability, purchase limits, barcode, canonical URL, images, online categories and merchandise hierarchy; ingredients, allergens, nutrition per 100 g / per serving as numbers, country of origin with % Australian ingredients, alcohol content.
- Measured 2026-10-18: whole catalogue 25,153 products in 69.9 s, 0 duplicates, 100.0% coverage; field-by-field check against 16 live product pages: 288 / 288 values match.
- Pay-per-result budget: stops cleanly at the run's maximum cost (`SUMMARY.stoppedBy: MAX_COST`).
