## Changelog

### 2026-10-15

- A run that reaches its maximum cost per run now stops cleanly with its results saved and a status message, instead of ending as aborted.
- A proxy group your account cannot use no longer stops the run at start-up; it falls back to the default Apify Proxy.
- Memory is managed within the run's own limit, which removes a rare out-of-memory crash on large pages.

### 2026-10-10 — faster (build 1.0.9)

- Faster: 1,000 jobs in 44 s instead of 214 s on the same input (2 keywords × Chicago/Texas), first rows after ~6 s
instead of ~18 s; the prefilled example finishes in ~7–15 s.
- Hedged requests: a page that has not answered after 10 s is requested once more on a fresh unblocker session;
the first good answer wins and the other is cancelled. The first page of every search and location lookups race two
copies from the start. Hedge count and response-time percentiles go to SUMMARY.
- Default concurrency 8 → 32 (max 50); no 502s measured at 32, memory peak 222 MB for 1,000 jobs (limit 512 MB).
- Locations: common names (US, Texas, London, Germany, major US cities) resolve without a lookup; others are looked
up in parallel and their searches start as soon as each answers.
- One priority queue: the page expected to add the most new jobs is fetched first (52 page requests for 1,000 jobs
instead of 117), and no new page is started when the pages already in flight will cover `maxItems`.
- Stops the moment the row limit is reached; live progress in the run's status message.

### 2026-10-10 — first release

- Keyword × location searches (cities, states, countries, "Remote") and raw Glassdoor search URLs.
- Big searches are split into filter slices (city, job function, industry, seniority, job type, company size,
posting window, salary band, sort order) because Glassdoor repeats jobs after page 3 — standard and deep levels.
- Salary range with source (employer vs Glassdoor estimate), skills, benefits, seniority, experience,
education, job type, work setting, posting date. Deduplicated by Glassdoor job ID.
- Optional job details: full description, exact dates, coordinates, company HQ/size/revenue/industry/website/CEO
  and seven rating breakdowns.
- UNBLOCKER proxy group by default (Glassdoor answers other proxies with Cloudflare 403); half-rendered pages are
re-fetched; a run that reaches nothing fails with the reason; `SUMMARY` record per run.
