Previously the proxy-less Actor shared a single platform egress IP that SEC throttled, silently returning **zero results**.
- **No more silent empty successes.** If SEC blocks *every* index request, the run now **fails with a clear, actionable error** ("enable Apify Proxy / switch to RESIDENTIAL") instead of exiting "successfully" with an empty dataset.
- **New `industry` filter.** Filter by the issuer's official **SEC Form D industry group** (Technology, Health Care, Real Estate, Energy, Banking & Financial Services, and more) — matched against the parsed filing, not the company name.
- **Whole-word keyword matching.** The `keyword` filter now matches whole words in the company/fund name, so short queries like `AI` no longer match `MAIN`, `CAPITAL`, etc. Name search and sector search are cleanly separated.
- Post-parse filters (industry / minimum amount) over-fetch a larger candidate pool so they still fill `maxResults`; the default input stays fast within the Store quality window. Switched the HTTP layer from raw `fetch` to `got-scraping` and dropped the unused `crawlee` dependency.
