## Changelog

### 2026-10-15

- A run that reaches its maximum cost per run now stops cleanly with its results saved and a status message, instead of ending as aborted.
- A proxy group your account cannot use no longer stops the run at start-up; it falls back to the default Apify Proxy.

### 2026-10-13 — first release

- Public Snapchat profiles by username or link (`/add/…`, `/@…`, `story.snapchat.com/@…`, share links, Spotlight video links): subscribers, verified badge, category, bio, website, address, images, Snapcode, IDs, creation and last-update dates, related accounts.
- Story snaps, highlights (optionally every snap), Spotlight videos with views, shares, comments, boosts and recommends, engagement rate, caption, hashtags, sound, MP4/thumbnail/transcript URLs and Snapchat's AI title, description and keywords; optional top comments; AR lenses.
- Per-profile Spotlight statistics: total, average, median and best views, totals, engagement rate, latest upload, top hashtags.
- Creator discovery by keyword (Snapchat search: suggested creators with exact subscriber counts + creators of the top Spotlight videos), related topics and creators' niche hashtags (up to 3 levels), and related-account expansion to any depth. Measured: 10,000 profiles from 50 keywords in 4 min 20 s on 4 GB memory (8 min 38 s on 2 GB), with thousands of searches still queued.
- Hidden subscriber counts of brands, publishers and verified creators recovered from Snapchat search (79 % in a 1,000-profile test).
- Optional one row per Spotlight video (`rowType = spotlight`).
- Speed: keep-alive connections on rotating datacenter IPs, a second copy raced only for real stragglers, concurrency matched to the run's memory. 1,000 profiles in 86 s on the default 1 GB, 21 s on 4 GB.
- Exact limits: `maxProfiles` is never exceeded; renamed accounts that answer under two usernames are saved once.
- Pay-per-result budget aware: when the run's "Maximum cost per run" covers fewer results than asked for, the run saves exactly that many and ends successfully with a clear message instead of being aborted.
- Honest outcomes: usernames without a public page are listed in the status message and SUMMARY and never fail the run; only "nothing could be fetched" fails it. Every run writes a SUMMARY (profiles, not found, failures, keyword yields, latency, stop reason).
