- A run that reaches its maximum cost per run now stops cleanly with its results saved and a status message, instead of ending as aborted.
- A proxy group your account cannot use no longer stops the run at start-up; it falls back to the default Apify Proxy.
- Memory is managed within the run's own limit, which removes a rare out-of-memory crash on large pages.

### 2026-10-10 — faster runs

- Faster: 1,250 rows with author enrichment in ~36–39 s instead of ~237 s (default settings); the prefilled example in ~9–15 s instead of ~27 s.
- Faster: keep-alive connections through the proxy (~0.5 s per request instead of ~1.8 s), a one-request visitor handshake, and author lookups in a parallel, cached pool that overlaps with channel paging (channel pages get priority).
- Faster: rows are saved as soon as they are complete, status updates every 5 s, keyword-search tabs and the hottest/newest comment streams are fetched in parallel.
- `concurrency` now means requests in flight; default 20 (measured sweet spot), maximum 50.
- Fixed: the run now stops the instant `maxItems` is reached and never saves more rows than asked; the SUMMARY row count always matches the dataset.

- Sources: 55 hot channels (热门, 实时, 财经, 科技 …), comments and replies (hottest, newest or both),
  the real-time hot-search board (热搜) with optional posts per topic, user profiles (profile + detail),
  keyword and #topic# search, single posts by URL or ID.
- Optional expansion of truncated long posts (全文); author-profile enrichment for feed posts is on by default (followers, gender, location, bio on every post row).
- Anonymous visitor identity per worker on datacenter IPs; a refused identity is replaced on a new IP.
- Rows are de-duplicated across all sources; every run writes a SUMMARY record.
- Channel names accept English aliases and common Chinese synonyms (娱乐 → 明星, 股票 → 股市, 新闻 → 社会 …); unknown names are listed in the log.
- A run that reaches nothing fails; when every requested user/post is missing the outcome is NOT_FOUND.
- Optional weiboCookie (beta, secret input) extends profile timelines and search beyond the first page; not yet verified against a live signed-in account.
