## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Google Maps CID Finder

Turn any Google Maps link, short link, Place ID or business name into its **permanent CID**, **hex CID** and **Place ID**, plus ready-to-use links for reviews, embeds and the Google knowledge panel.

### What it does

Paste a list of anything that points to a Google Maps listing and get one clean row per business:

| Input | Example |
|---|---|
| Short link | `https://maps.app.goo.gl/...` |
| Desktop / mobile URL | `https://www.google.com/maps/place/...` |
| CID link | `https://maps.google.com/?cid=10337928942723272581` |
| Place ID | `ChIJkUZBGjy5yhQR4BkbnGQH9DE` |
| Decimal or hex CID | `10337928942723272581`, `0x8f77b399c8400f85` |
| Business name | `Starbucks Kadikoy` |

### Output fields

- `cid`, `hex_cid`, `place_id`, `data_id`
- `title`, `type`, `address`, `phone`, `website`, `rating`, `latitude`, `longitude` (when the business is found on Maps)
- `maps_cid_url`: permanent Maps link that never breaks when the business renames
- `review_url`: direct "write a review" link for review request emails, SMS and QR codes
- `embed_map_url`, `knowledge_graph_url`
- `schema_json`: LocalBusiness JSON-LD with `hasMap`, ready for your website
- `error`: only present when an item could not be resolved (you are not charged for these)

### Use cases

- **Local SEO**: add the CID-based `hasMap` link to schema markup and citations
- **Review management**: generate review links for hundreds of client locations at once
- **Lead generation and CRM enrichment**: attach stable Google identifiers to business records
- **Data cleanup**: deduplicate listings by CID instead of names or addresses

### Input

```json
{
  "queries": ["Starbucks Kadikoy", "ChIJkUZBGjy5yhQR4BkbnGQH9DE", "10337928942723272581"],
  "searchAllMatches": false,
  "country": "US"
}
```

Turn on **Return all matches** to get every Maps listing for a business name instead of only the best match.

### Pricing

You pay per successfully resolved business. Failed items are free.

# Actor input Schema

## `queries` (type: `array`):

One item per line. Mix freely: Google Maps URLs (maps.app.goo.gl, goo.gl/maps, google.com/maps/place/...), Place IDs (ChIJ...), decimal or hex CIDs, or business names like "Starbucks Kadikoy".

## `searchAllMatches` (type: `boolean`):

Off: a business name returns only the best match. On: it returns every match Google Maps lists for that name (each match is one result).

## `country` (type: `string`):

ISO country code used to bias business name searches (e.g. US, GB, DE, TR). Only used when "Return all matches" is on.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "queries": [
    "Starbucks Kadikoy",
    "ChIJkUZBGjy5yhQR4BkbnGQH9DE",
    "10337928942723272581"
  ],
  "searchAllMatches": false,
  "country": "US"
}
```

## `results` (type: `string`):
