## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Jomashop Scraper

Scrape product search results from **[Jomashop.com](https://www.jomashop.com)** — a large online discount retailer of watches, jewelry, sunglasses, handbags, fragrances, and other luxury goods. This Actor queries Jomashop's official search API and returns clean, structured product data.

### What it does

Given one or more search queries (e.g. `rolex`, `seiko`, `omega`, `gucci sunglasses`), the Actor returns every matching product with pricing, discount, model, category, availability, image, and URL.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| `searchQueries` | array of strings | Search terms to scrape. Default: `["rolex"]` |
| `maxListings` | integer | Max products per query. `0` = all available. Default: `100` |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Optional proxy. The API works without a proxy; enable only for very large runs. |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["rolex", "seiko"],
  "maxListings": 100
}
```

### Output

Each item in the dataset looks like:

```json
{
  "id": "b8b51ef9-6dcd-4509-aead-170e502fde09",
  "sku": "RLX278240PSO",
  "title": "Datejust 31 Automatic Pink Dial Ladies Watch 278240PSO",
  "brand": "Rolex",
  "series": "Rolex Datejust",
  "referenceNumber": "278240PSO",
  "price": 10500,
  "retailPrice": 10500,
  "currency": "USD",
  "discountPercent": 0,
  "discount": "0% Off",
  "category": "Watches",
  "gender": "Ladies",
  "movement": "Automatic",
  "caseDiameter": "31",
  "condition": "New",
  "preowned": "No",
  "color": ["Pink", "Silver Tone"],
  "availability": "In Stock",
  "productId": "618236",
  "image": "https://cdn2.jomashop.com/media/catalog/product/.../rolex-...278240pso.jpg",
  "url": "https://www.jomashop.com/rolex-datejust-31-...-278240pso.html",
  "searchQuery": "rolex",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-07-09T00:00:00.000Z"
}
```

#### Field notes

- **`price`** is the current (discounted) selling price; **`retailPrice`** is the list/MSRP price.
- **`discount`** / **`discountPercent`** reflect the advertised savings vs. retail.
- **`referenceNumber`** is a best-effort extraction of the watch model code from the product title.
- **`availability`** is `In Stock` or `Out of Stock`.

### Use cases

- Price tracking and price-drop alerts on luxury watches
- Resale / arbitrage research (Jomashop price vs. secondary market)
- Building a catalog of discounted watches, sunglasses, or fragrances
- Market and competitor research

### Notes

This Actor uses Jomashop's public search backend and does not require login. Please use responsibly and in accordance with Jomashop's Terms of Service.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

List of search terms to scrape on Jomashop.com (e.g., 'rolex', 'seiko', 'omega', 'gucci sunglasses'). Each query produces a separate set of results.

## `maxListings` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of products to scrape per search query (results are paginated 60 at a time). Set to 0 for maximum available.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. The Jomashop search API is generally accessible without a proxy; enable one only if you hit rate limits at scale.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "searchQueries": [
    "rolex"
  ],
  "maxListings": 100,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```
