## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Wethenew Scraper — Sneakers & Streetwear Resale

Scrape sneaker and streetwear listings from [Wethenew.com](https://wethenew.com), Europe's leading sneaker & streetwear resale marketplace. Search by keyword or browse the entire catalog and get clean, structured product data: lowest price, retail price, per-size availability, style code/SKU, images and more.

Great for **resale price tracking, sneaker arbitrage, cross-marketplace price comparison (vs GOAT / StockX / Stadium Goods), and market research**.

### What it does

- Reads Wethenew's public Shopify product feed (fast JSON, no HTML parsing, no proxy needed).
- Returns the lowest available price plus per-size availability for every product.
- Extracts the manufacturer **style code / SKU** so you can join across marketplaces.
- Two modes: keyword **search** (most relevant products) or full-catalog **browse**.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
|-------|------|-------------|
| `searchQuery` | string | Keyword to search (e.g. `jordan 1`, `yeezy`, `travis scott`, `new balance 550`). Leave **empty** to browse the entire catalog. |
| `maxProducts` | integer | Max products to scrape. `0` = unlimited (whole catalog in browse mode). Keyword search returns up to ~10 most-relevant products. Default `100`. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | object | Proxy settings. The Shopify feed is open, so **no proxy is used by default**. |

#### Example input

```json
{
  "searchQuery": "jordan 1",
  "maxProducts": 50,
  "proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }
}
```

Browse the whole catalog:

```json
{ "searchQuery": "", "maxProducts": 0 }
```

### Output

Each dataset item looks like:

```json
{
  "name": "Air Jordan 4 Vivid Sulfur",
  "brand": "Air Jordan",
  "styleCode": "AQ9129-101",
  "lowestPrice": 210.00,
  "highestPrice": 320.00,
  "retailPrice": null,
  "currency": "EUR",
  "inStock": true,
  "availableSizes": ["38 EU - 5.5 US", "40 EU - 7 US", "42 EU - 8.5 US"],
  "sizes": [
    { "size": "35.5 EU - 3.5 US", "price": 210.00, "available": false, "sku": "AQ9129-101" }
  ],
  "productType": "Sneakers",
  "tags": ["Air Jordan", "EXPRESS"],
  "image": "https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2358/2817/files/air-jordan-4-vivid-sulfur3.webp",
  "url": "https://wethenew.com/products/air-jordan-4-vivid-sulfur",
  "productId": 1234567890,
}
```

### Pricing

This actor is billed **pay-per-result**: a small fixed fee per product returned plus a tiny actor-start fee. You only pay for the data you get.

### Notes

- Prices are in EUR and reflect the live Wethenew marketplace at scrape time.
- Sizes are shown in Wethenew's EU/US format (e.g. `42 EU - 8.5 US`).
- This is an unofficial scraper and is not affiliated with Wethenew.
