## Changelog

### 2026-10-20

- New option, **Only new articles**: a scheduled run, or a re-run of the same task, returns only the articles it has not returned before. Skipped articles are neither saved nor charged; each new article is charged as usual. It cannot be combined with a date window on a keyword search.
- A run that nears its time limit now stops in time to save and charge every
article it already got, and its status says the time limit stopped it.
- The default run timeout is now 1 hour, so a run with the default settings is
  not cut short.
- A run started with no input now runs a sample: up to 100 US articles from the
last 3 days on "artificial intelligence", charged as usual.
- The dataset opens on a short Overview table of the main fields; every field is
one click away under All fields.
- Each input field now says what it accepts, its limits and its cost, with an
  example.
- Lower prices on Apify's paid plans: $0.90 per 1,000 articles on Bronze, $0.80
on Silver and $0.70 on Gold and above.
- Runs use 1 GB of memory by default and at most 2 GB.

### 2026-10-18

- First release: Google News articles for keywords, the nine Google News
sections and pasted Google News links, in any country and language. Each row
has the headline, the publisher and its website, the exact publish time, the
Google News link and, for a story with wider coverage, the other articles
  Google groups with it.
- With a date window (up to 366 days), each keyword is read one day at a time,
so you get up to about 100 articles for every day of the window instead of
  about 100 in all.
- An article found by two keywords, or on two days, is saved and charged once.
- Price: $1 per 1,000 articles.
