## Pricing

from $0.03 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Indeed Jobs Scraper: Past the 1,000 Limit

Get Indeed jobs in 62 countries, read past the roughly 1,000 results one
Indeed search stops at, each with its full description, pay, job types,
remote or hybrid tags, the place with map coordinates, and the hiring
company's rating, size, revenue, industry and website. One row per job. No
Indeed account or cookies needed.

Tested daily. Latest check: 100 registered nurse jobs in Chicago in 8
seconds; 10,000 software engineer jobs from one United States search, ten
times what one Indeed search lists.

### What does this Actor do?

You give it keywords and a place, or links to Indeed job searches. For each
search it reads Indeed's results, 100 jobs at a time, and saves one row per
job until it reaches your limit or the search has no more jobs.

One Indeed search stops near 1,000 results however many jobs match, and
repeats jobs as it gets there. This Actor goes on past that point and saves
each job once.

Each job comes with:

- its title, Indeed link, the employer's own link for it, and the full
  description, as text and as HTML
- when it was published and when it reached Indeed, and whether it has
  expired
- the pay, as shown and as numbers: from, to, per hour, week, month or year,
  and the currency
- its job types (full-time, part-time, contract…), and whether it is remote
  or hybrid
- Indeed's tags for it (skills, benefits, requirements) and its occupations
- the place: street, city, state or region, postal code, country, and
  latitude and longitude
- whether you can apply on Indeed, whether the employer is hiring urgently or
  hiring many, and whether an agency posted it
- the hiring company: its Indeed page, rating and number of reviews, logo,
  website and social links, industry, size, revenue, description, addresses
  and CEO, when Indeed has them
- the search it was found in

### Why use it?

- **More than 1,000 jobs from one search.** A busy search is read on past
  the point where Indeed's own results stop.
- **The company comes with the job.** Rating, review count, size, revenue,
  industry and website are on the row when Indeed has a company page.
- **62 countries, one input.** Pick a country, or paste Indeed links from any
  of them.
- **Pay as numbers.** Salary from, to, period and currency, ready to sort and
  compare.
- **Use the data anywhere.** Download as JSON, CSV or Excel, or send it to
  your own tools through Apify's API and integrations.

### How to use it

1. Pick the **Country**, then type one or more **Keywords** and a
   **Location**, or paste **Search links**, or both.
2. Optionally, choose a **Distance from location**, **Date posted**, **Job
   types**, **Remote or hybrid**, **Sort by** and **Max jobs per search**.
3. Click **Start**. When the run ends, open the **Output** tab to view the
   jobs or download them.

Run it with no input to see a sample: up to 100 "registered nurse" jobs in
Chicago, charged as usual.

#### Links that work

An Indeed job search in any of the 62 countries, such as
`https://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=nurse&l=Chicago%2C+IL&fromage=7` or
`https://uk.indeed.com/q-data-analyst-l-london-jobs.html`. Its keywords,
place, distance, date posted, job type, remote or hybrid filter and sort are
used. Other filters in a link (pay, company, experience level, and the older
`remotejob=` remote filter) are not read.
Other Indeed pages (a single job, a company) and other sites stop the run
before anything is read, naming the link.

### Input

| Field                                        | What it does                                                                             | Default     |
| -------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------- |
| **Keywords** (`keywords`) | Job titles, skills or companies to search for, one search each | — |
| **Location** (`location`) | A city, state, region or postcode, used for every keyword. Empty = whole country | — |
| **Country** (`country`)                      | Which Indeed to search, as a country code (`US`, `GB`, `DE`…)                            | `US`        |
| **Distance from location** (`radius`) | 0 to 100: miles in the US and the UK, kilometres elsewhere | `25` |
| **Date posted** (`datePosted`)               | `any`, or posted in the last `1`, `3`, `7`, `14` or `30` days                            | `any`       |
| **Job types** (`jobTypes`)                   | `full-time`, `part-time`, `contract`, `temporary`, `internship`, `permanent`, `per-diem` | all         |
| **Remote or hybrid** (`workArrangements`)    | `remote`, `hybrid`                                                                       | all         |
| **Sort by** (`sortBy`)                       | `relevance` or `date`                                                                    | `relevance` |
| **Search links** (`startUrls`)               | Indeed job search links                                                                  | —           |
| **Max jobs per search** (`maxJobsPerSearch`) | Stop each keyword or link after this many jobs, 1 to 10,000 | `100` |

Give at least one keyword, a location, or one link. A location with no
keywords searches every job there. Example input:

```json
{
  "country": "US",
  "keywords": ["data engineer", "analytics engineer"],
  "location": "Austin, TX",
  "jobTypes": ["full-time"],
  "datePosted": "7",
  "maxJobsPerSearch": 2000
}
```

Company fields are filled when Indeed has a company page for the employer:
most jobs have a rating, and about half have a size, revenue and website.

### How much does it cost?

No surcharges and no paid options; an item that fails is not charged.

You pay for what you get:

- **$0.05 per 1,000 jobs** ($0.00005 a job). Each job is charged once per run, even when two of your searches find it.
- No start fee, and nothing per search.

So 2,000 jobs cost $0.10. If you set a maximum cost for a run, the Actor stops when it reaches it and keeps every job saved so far.

### How long does a run take?

About 100 jobs in 10 seconds; 3,505 jobs from two searches in 6 minutes;
10,000 jobs from one search in 15 minutes.

### Good to know

- **Indeed decides what matches.** A search returns what Indeed finds for the
  keywords and place, loose matches included.
- **Job type and remote filters use Indeed's tags.** A job Indeed has not
  tagged full-time is left out of a full-time search, even if its description
  says so. Jobs left out are never charged.
- **One job, one row.** A job found again in the same run, under the same or
  another search, is saved and charged once.
- **A search that cannot be read** is reported in the run's status; the other
  searches carry on. The run fails only when none could be read.
- **Running it daily?** Use "Last 24 hours" and remove repeats by `job_key`.

### FAQ

**Do I need an Indeed account or cookies?**
No. The Actor reads what anyone can see on Indeed without signing in.

**Which countries?**
62: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, France,
the Netherlands, Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand, South Africa, the United
Arab Emirates, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Japan and 44 more. The Country
field lists them all.

**Can I run it from my own code, on a schedule, or with other apps?**
Yes. Like any Apify Actor, you can start it through the Apify API, run it on a
schedule, and connect it to other apps with Apify's integrations and webhooks.

### Is it legal to scrape Indeed?

This Actor reads only public job listings. A listing or a company page can
name a person (a CEO, a contact); treat those as personal data. Check
Indeed's terms and the laws that apply to you (such as the GDPR or the CCPA)
before you use the data. If you are unsure, ask a lawyer.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Job titles, skills or companies to search for, one search per keyword (e.g. "registered nurse"). Leave empty and give a location to get every job there. Each keyword uses the Country, Location and filters below; paste links under Search links. A job two keywords both find is saved and charged once.

## `location` (type: `string`):

Where the jobs are, as you would type it on Indeed: a city, state, region or postcode (e.g. "Chicago, IL", "London" or "Berlin"). Used for every keyword, up to 200 characters; with no keywords, it searches every job there. Empty = the whole country. A search link keeps its own place.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which Indeed to search: 62 countries, from indeed.com (United States) to uk.indeed.com, de.indeed.com and the rest. Applies to the keywords above; a search link carries its own country. Default: United States. Example: GB, to search uk.indeed.com.

## `radius` (type: `integer`):

How far from the Location to look, from 0 to 100: miles in the United States and the United Kingdom, kilometres everywhere else. Used only with a Location. Default 25. Example: 50.

## `datePosted` (type: `string`):

Only jobs posted in this time, for the keywords above: any time, the last 24 hours, or the last 3, 7, 14 or 30 days. A search link keeps its own date range. Default: any time. Example: "1" for jobs posted in the last 24 hours.

## `jobTypes` (type: `array`):

Only jobs Indeed tags with one of these job types, for the keywords above. Pick one or more; leave empty for every job. A search link keeps its own job type. Example: full-time and contract.

## `workArrangements` (type: `array`):

Only jobs Indeed tags as remote or hybrid, for the keywords above. Pick one or both; leave empty for every job, on-site included. A search link keeps its own remote filter. Example: remote.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

The order Indeed lists the jobs in: relevance, or date. With a limit, it decides which jobs you get. A search link keeps its own sort. Default: relevance. Example: date.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Links to Indeed job searches in any of the 62 countries, e.g. https://www.indeed.com/jobs?q=nurse\&l=Chicago%2C+IL\&fromage=7 or https://uk.indeed.com/q-data-analyst-l-london-jobs.html. The link's country, keywords, place, distance, date posted, job type, remote filter and sort are used. The link needs keywords or a place; a single job or a company page is refused.

## `maxJobsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Stop each keyword or link after this many jobs, from 1 to 10,000. Default 100. Each job is charged once ($0.05 per 1,000 jobs), so this caps what one search costs: 1,000 jobs cost at most $0.05. Example: 2000.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "keywords": [
    "registered nurse"
  ],
  "location": "Chicago, IL",
  "country": "US",
  "radius": 25,
  "datePosted": "any",
  "sortBy": "relevance",
  "maxJobsPerSearch": 100
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `jobs` (type: `string`):

Every job the run saved, one row per job.

## `allFields` (type: `string`):

The same rows with every field.
