## Pricing

from $6.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Scrape Threads profiles and posts** — followers, bio and links for each profile, plus every post's **text, likes, replies, reposts, quotes, shares, images, videos and date**, ready for analysis or export.

### What does Threads Scraper do?

Threads Scraper collects public data from [Threads](https://www.threads.com), Meta's text-based social network. Give it usernames or profile links and it returns:

- **One profile row per account** — name, follower count, bio, bio links, verified badge, user ID and profile picture.
- **One row per post** — text, post URL, publish date, **like, reply, repost, quote and share counts**, media type, image and video URLs, link previews, hashtags, mentions, and whether it is a reply or quote.

It runs on Apify, so you can schedule it, call it through the API and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or your database.

### Why use Threads Scraper?

- **Influencer marketing** — vet creators by followers and real engagement before you pay them.
- **Brand and competitor monitoring** — track what competitors post and what resonates.
- **Content research** — find the formats and topics that get the most replies and reposts.
- **Social listening and analytics** — build dashboards of engagement over time.
- **Academic and market research** — export structured post data at scale.

### How to scrape Threads

1. Click **Try for free**.
2. Add **Threads usernames or profile URLs** (e.g. `zuck`, `https://www.threads.com/@mosseri`).
3. Set **Max posts per profile**.
4. Click **Start** and download the data as CSV, Excel or JSON.

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `usernames` | Usernames (with or without @) or profile links. |
| `maxPostsPerProfile` | Posts per profile, newest first (0 = all available). |
| `includeProfile` | Adds one profile row per account. |

### Output

You can download the dataset in various formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel.

Profile row:

```json
{
    "entityType": "profile",
    "username": "mosseri",
    "fullName": "Adam Mosseri",
    "followers": 1047236,
    "isVerified": true,
    "bio": "Father of three boys, married to an amazing woman, head of Instagram…",
    "bioLinks": ["http://mosseri.net/"],
    "userId": "63482099442",
    "profileUrl": "https://www.threads.com/@mosseri"
}
```

Post row:

```json
{
    "entityType": "post",
    "username": "mosseri",
    "postUrl": "https://www.threads.com/@mosseri/post/DeIqbp0lJAa",
    "text": "As is often the case with features like this one…",
    "postedAt": "2026-10-06T02:01:13+00:00",
    "likes": 354,
    "replies": 71,
    "reposts": 12,
    "quotes": 1,
    "shares": 20,
    "mediaType": "text",
    "imageUrls": [],
    "hashtags": [],
    "quotedPostUrl": "https://www.threads.com/t/DeAUJdDozVi"
}
```

### Data fields

| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `entityType` | `profile` or `post` |
| `followers`, `bio`, `bioLinks`, `isVerified`, `fullName` | Profile |
| `text`, `postedAt`, `postUrl` | Post content |
| `likes`, `replies`, `reposts`, `quotes`, `shares` | Engagement |
| `mediaType`, `imageUrls`, `videoUrls`, `linkUrl` | Media |
| `hashtags`, `mentions`, `isReply`, `isRepost`, `quotedPostUrl` | Context |

Views: **Posts**, **Profiles**, **Post details**.

### How many results will I get?

One row per post (up to `maxPostsPerProfile` per account) plus one profile row per account when `includeProfile` is on. Accounts that don't exist return a single row with an error so nothing is silently skipped.

### Tips

- Set `maxPostsPerProfile` to 10–20 for quick engagement snapshots of many creators.
- Schedule daily runs to track engagement growth of new posts.
- Sort the Posts view by likes or replies to find top-performing content.

### FAQ

**Can it scrape private accounts?** No — only public profiles and posts.

**Is it legal?** It collects publicly available posts. Use the data in line with Threads' terms and privacy laws.

**Need search or replies?** Open an issue in the **Issues** tab.

# Actor input Schema

## `usernames` (type: `array`):

Usernames (with or without @) or profile links, one per line.

## `maxPostsPerProfile` (type: `integer`):

Maximum posts saved per profile, newest first. 0 = all available.

## `includeProfile` (type: `boolean`):

Adds one row per profile with followers, bio, bio links and verified status.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):
