## Pricing

from $0.56 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Tenders Scraper - TED Public Procurement Monitor

Find **EU public tenders** from **TED (Tenders Electronic Daily)**, the official journal where every public contract above the EU thresholds is published: around **1,000+ new notices every working day** from all 27 EU countries plus EEA and candidate countries.

The actor uses the **official open TED Search API**, so it is fast and stable: no login, no API key, no browser, no blocking. Search by keyword, CPV code, country, value and deadline, and get the buyer, contact, estimated value, deadline, CPV codes and links to the tender documents in one clean table.

### What you get

- **Open tenders you can bid on**, newest first, with the **submission deadline**, time and **days left**.
- **Buyer**: name, country, city, official email and website of the contracting authority.
- **Value**: estimated value of the procedure (or the sum of its lots) and currency.
- **Classification**: main CPV code and all CPV codes, contract type (works, supplies, services) and procedure type.
- **Links**: TED notice page, PDF, XML and the **procurement documents** link published by the buyer.
- **Titles in your language**: English (or 21 other EU languages) plus the original title.
- **Upcoming tenders** (prior information notices) and **contract awards** (who won) on request.
- **Only-new mode** for daily tender alerts: you get, and pay for, each tender only once.

### Use cases

- **Bid teams and sales**: get every new tender in your sector and countries each morning, before competitors.
- **IT, consulting, construction, cleaning, security, energy, medical suppliers**: one search per CPV group.
- **Tender consultants and agencies**: monitor many clients' sectors with separate Monitor IDs.
- **Market research**: public demand by sector, country and value; who buys what.
- **Lead generation**: public bodies that are actively buying in your category, with their official contact.

### How to find EU tenders (step by step)

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**).
2. Type **Keywords** in English, e.g. `software`, `cybersecurity`, `cleaning`, `solar panels`. Titles on TED are translated, so English finds tenders in every language.
3. Optional: add **CPV codes** (`72000000` = all IT services) and **Buyer countries** (`DE`, `FR`, `PL`...).
4. Optional: set **Published within (days)** and **Minimum estimated value**.
5. Click **Start** and download the results as **Excel, CSV, JSON or HTML**, or send them to Google Sheets.

### Daily tender alerts (Slack, email, Google Sheets)

1. Turn on **Only new tenders since last run** and set a **Monitor ID**, e.g. `it-tenders-dach`.
2. In Apify Console create a **Schedule** that runs the actor every morning.
3. Add an integration: **Slack, email, Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or a webhook**.

Every morning you get only the tenders published since the last run.

### Use it from your code (API)

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("martin10291/eu-tenders-ted-monitor").call(run_input={
    "keywords": ["cleaning"],
    "countries": ["DE"],
    "postedWithinDays": 1,
    "onlyNewTenders": True,
    "monitorId": "cleaning-de",
})
for t in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
    print(t["deadline"], t["buyerName"], t["title"], t["url"])
```

### Pricing

**$0.80 per 1,000 tenders**, no start fee: cheaper than other TED scrapers. Tenders removed by your filters and tenders skipped in only-new mode are free, and **Max tenders** caps the cost of every run. A daily alert for one sector usually costs a few cents per month.

### FAQ

**Is this official data?**
Yes. TED is the official EU journal for public procurement, published by the Publications Office of the European Union. The actor only reads its public Search API.

**Which countries are covered?**
All EU member states plus notices from EEA, EU institutions and other countries that publish on TED. Smaller tenders below the EU thresholds are often only on national portals.

**What is a CPV code?**
The EU's standard list of what is being bought. `72000000` = IT services, `45000000` = construction, `90910000` = cleaning, `33000000` = medical equipment, `09330000` = solar energy. A general code includes all its sub-codes.

**Why is the value missing for some tenders?**
Buyers are not required to publish the estimated value. Those tenders are kept even when you set a minimum value.

**Can I get the winners and prices?**
Yes: select **Contract awards** in Notice types.

**Something is missing?**
Open an issue on the **Issues** tab with an example input. New fields and filters are added on request.

# Actor input Schema

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Words to find in the tender title, e.g. 'software', 'cleaning', 'cybersecurity', 'solar'. English works for tenders in every EU language (titles are translated). Several keywords = any of them. Empty = all tenders.

## `searchIn` (type: `string`):

'Title' gives precise results. 'Full notice text' also matches the description, so you get more (and looser) results.

## `cpvCodes` (type: `array`):

Common Procurement Vocabulary codes. A general code includes all its sub-codes: '72000000' = all IT services, '90910000' = cleaning, '45000000' = construction works, '79' = business services. Empty = any.

## `countries` (type: `array`):

Country of the contracting authority: ISO codes (DE, FR, PL or DEU) or English names (Germany). Empty = all EU/EEA countries.

## `noticeTypes` (type: `array`):

Contract notices = open tenders you can bid on. Prior information = upcoming tenders. Contract awards = who won and for how much.

## `postedWithinDays` (type: `integer`):

Only notices published in the last N days. 0 = any date.

## `onlyOpenTenders` (type: `boolean`):

Skip contract notices whose submission deadline has passed (applies when only 'Contract notices' are selected).

## `minValue` (type: `integer`):

Skip tenders in EUR with a known estimated value below this. Tenders without a published value are kept. 0 = no limit.

## `language` (type: `string`):

Language for the translated title and names when available.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the procedure description (original language).

## `onlyNewTenders` (type: `boolean`):

Return only notices not seen in previous runs with the same Monitor ID. Use with a Schedule for daily tender alerts.

## `monitorId` (type: `string`):

Name of the monitor for 'only new tenders'. Use different IDs for different searches.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Hard limit on tenders saved (and paid for).
