## Pricing

from $2.55 / 1,000 page auditeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## On-Page SEO Checker — Cheap, Japanese/CJK-aware

Audit a **list of pages** for on-page SEO and get a **score from 0 to 100** with a clear list of issues — for **$3 per 1,000 pages**.

Built to judge **Japanese, Chinese and Korean pages correctly**: a good Japanese title is around 15–35 characters, not the 50–60 characters English tools expect. This checker detects the page language and applies the right limits.

### What it checks

| Area | Checks |
|---|---|
| Title & description | Missing, too short, too long — **language-aware limits** (CJK vs. Latin scripts) |
| Headings | Missing / multiple / empty `<h1>` (logo images count by alt text), skipped heading levels |
| Indexing | `noindex` in meta robots or X-Robots-Tag, canonical URL (missing or pointing elsewhere), hreflang list |
| Mobile & basics | Viewport meta, `<html lang>`, HTTPS |
| Social previews | Open Graph title/description/image, Twitter card |
| Structured data | JSON-LD types found, unparseable JSON-LD blocks |
| Images & links | Images without alt, internal / external / nofollow link counts |
| Content | Word count and CJK character count, thin-content warning |
| Speed (single request) | Server response time, HTML size |

Each issue has a `severity` (`error`, `warning`, `notice`), a stable `code` and a readable `message`. A run **SUMMARY** shows the average score and the most common issues across all pages.

### What can it be used for?

- Quick SEO checks of **landing pages, blog posts and product pages** before or after publishing
- **Client reports** for agencies — cheap enough to audit thousands of URLs
- **Monitoring** titles, noindex and canonicals after a CMS or theme change (run on a schedule)
- Auditing **Japanese / multilingual sites** with correct length rules

### Input

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| `urls` | Pages to audit. Only these URLs are fetched — the Actor does not crawl. |
| `respectRobotsTxt`, `minDelayPerSiteMs`, `maxConcurrency`, `timeoutSecs` | Politeness and limits |

### Output (shortened)

```json
{
    "url": "https://www.digital.go.jp/",
    "status": "success",
    "score": 93,
    "language": "ja",
}
```

### Pricing

| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Page audited | $0.003 ($3 per 1,000 pages) |

Failed pages and pages blocked by robots.txt are not charged. Platform usage is included.

### Limitations

- Static HTML only (no JavaScript rendering). Content added by scripts in the browser is not seen.
- Speed figures come from one server request, not real-user Core Web Vitals.
- The score is a heuristic summary of the issues found, not Google's ranking.
