## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## EU Public Tenders (TED) Search & Monitor – Italy & all EU

Get **clean, flat, ready-to-use public procurement notices** from **TED – Tenders Electronic Daily**, the official EU journal of public tenders (≈ 1,000+ new notices every working day across the EU/EEA). Data comes from the **official TED Search API** – no browser, no scraping of HTML, no proxies – so runs are fast, cheap and stable.

Built for bid managers, consultants, SMEs and sales teams who want a **daily list of new tenders** for their country, sector (CPV) or keywords – in a spreadsheet, CRM, Slack or e‑mail.

### What you get

- 🔎 Filter by **buyer country** (ITA, FRA, DEU, ESP… or all), **CPV codes/prefixes**, **full‑text keywords**, **notice type**, **publication dates**, **minimum value**.
- ⏰ **Only open tenders** option (submission deadline today or later).
- 🔔 **Monitor mode (`onlyNew`)** – schedule it daily and receive **only notices you have not seen yet**. Multiple saved searches via `stateKey`.
- 🏆 **Award notices** with **winner names** (`can-standard`) for competitor/market analysis.
- 🌍 Texts in your preferred language when available (English, Italiano, Français, Deutsch…).
- 📄 Direct links to the TED notice page, PDF, XML, procurement documents and e‑submission portal.

### Input example

```json
{
  "buyerCountries": ["ITA"],
  "cpvCodes": ["72", "48"],
  "noticeTypes": ["cn-standard"],
  "onlyOpenTenders": true,
  "publishedLastDays": 7,
  "language": "ita",
  "maxResults": 500,
  "onlyNew": true,
  "stateKey": "it-software"
}
```

Power users can paste any **TED Expert Search** query in `customQuery` (e.g. `buyer-country=ITA AND PC=[72*] AND TV>=1000000`).

### Output example

```json
{
  "publicationNumber": "742984-2026",
  "procedureType": "open",
  "contractNature": "services",
  "title": "Maintenance services for Applied Biosystems (Life Technologies) Scientific Instruments",
  "pdfUrl": "https://ted.europa.eu/it/notice/742984-2026/pdf"
}
```

Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, or connect via API, webhooks, Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets.

### Typical uses

- Daily e‑mail/Slack digest of new tenders in your sector and country.
- Lead generation for companies selling to the public sector.
- Market intelligence: who wins what, at which value, in which region (award notices).

### Pricing

Pay per result: you pay only for notices delivered to your dataset (see the Pricing tab). Monitor mode keeps the cost low because already-seen notices are not charged again.

### Notes & limits

- Source: TED, Publications Office of the European Union. Notices are reusable for commercial and non‑commercial purposes under Commission Decision 2011/833/EU; please keep the source attribution (included in each item as `source`).
- Only data published on TED (EU‑threshold tenders) – below‑threshold national tenders are not on TED.
- No personal contact data (e‑mails, phone numbers, contact persons) is extracted.
- This Actor is not affiliated with or endorsed by the EU Publications Office.

### FAQ

**How many results can I get?** Up to 15,000 per run (pagination via the API iteration mode).
**How fresh is it?** TED publishes on working days; the Actor reads the live API on each run.
**Something broken?** Open an issue in the Issues tab – it is monitored daily.
