## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Company Careers Jobs Finder — domain to jobs, any ATS

**Paste company domains. Get their open jobs.** The Actor finds each company's careers page, figures out which applicant tracking system (ATS) powers it, and returns every open job in **one clean schema** — no matter if the company uses Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Personio, **Workday** or **BambooHR**.

Need only the stack? **Detect-only mode** returns one row per company with **the ATS it uses** and its careers URL — perfect for HR-tech sales prospecting and market mapping.

### Why this Actor

- 🔎 **Auto-detection** — give `stripe.com`, we check `/careers`, `/jobs`, `careers.` / `jobs.` subdomains and follow "Careers / Join us / Jobs" links from the homepage.
- 🧩 **9 ATS supported for jobs** + recognition of iCIMS, SuccessFactors, Oracle/Taleo, Teamtailor, Jobvite, JazzHR, Breezy and Welcome to the Jungle (reported in detect mode).
- 📦 **One schema** — title, department, location, remote, employment type, salary (when published), dates, job URL, apply URL, optional description.
- 🔔 **Monitoring mode** — only new and closed jobs since the last run: a hiring-signal feed.
- ⚡ Official public job-board endpoints, no browser, no login.

### Who uses it

- **Sales teams** — find companies hiring for roles your product serves, or that use a given ATS.
- **Recruiting agencies** — watch target accounts and get new roles the day they open.
- **HR-tech vendors** — map which ATS your prospects run on (detect mode).
- **Job boards & researchers** — aggregate jobs from hundreds of companies with one input list.

### Good to know

Only public job postings are collected — no recruiter or employee data. Some companies use custom careers sites without a public ATS feed; they are reported as "not found". All trademarks belong to their owners; this Actor is not affiliated with any ATS vendor.

# Actor input Schema

## `companies` (type: `array`):

Company domains (stripe.com), careers page URLs, or explicit ats:slug (greenhouse:stripe). The Actor finds the careers page and the ATS behind it.

## `mode` (type: `string`):

Jobs = every open job of each company. Detect only = one row per company with the ATS it uses and its careers URL (cheap, great for lead generation and market mapping).

## `keywords` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose title contains one of these words (e.g. engineer, sales).

## `locations` (type: `array`):

Keep only jobs whose location contains one of these texts (e.g. London, United States, Remote).

## `remoteOnly` (type: `boolean`):

Keep only jobs flagged or described as remote.

## `includeDescription` (type: `boolean`):

Add the full job description text (slower on Workday sites).

## `maxJobsPerCompany` (type: `integer`):

Upper limit of jobs returned per company.

## `monitorMode` (type: `boolean`):

Only output jobs that appeared or closed since the previous run with the same Monitor ID. Schedule daily for hiring alerts.

## `monitorId` (type: `string`):

Name of your watch list. Use a different ID for each independent list of companies.
