## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

### 🚀 Find suppliers in Brazil's space industry

For sourcing teams, sales teams, and researchers, this Actor turns the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) supplier catalog into company profile rows. Get company names, source links, and published contacts, sectors, and company facts to compare suppliers without copying each profile by hand.

- Collect company profiles from the **[AEB Supplier Catalog](https://apify.com/maximedupre/aeb/examples/aeb-supplier-catalog)**.
- Build a list of published **[Brazil Space Company Contacts](https://apify.com/maximedupre/aeb/examples/brazil-space-company-contacts)** for outreach research.
- Review published tax IDs with **[Brazil Space Company CNPJ](https://apify.com/maximedupre/aeb/examples/brazil-space-company-cnpj)**.
- Compare supplier capabilities with **[Brazil Space Industry Application Sectors](https://apify.com/maximedupre/aeb/examples/brazil-space-industry-application-sectors)**.
- Map suppliers by their listed **[Brazil Space Company Locations](https://apify.com/maximedupre/aeb/examples/brazil-space-company-locations)**.

#### 📦 Company facts from the AEB catalog

Each saved row is one company profile from the public [AEB supplier catalog](https://spaceindustry.aeb.gov.br). It includes a name and catalog entry link. When published, it also includes:

- Company description, application sectors, products, and services
- City, state, and country
- Email addresses, phone numbers, website, and LinkedIn link
- Employee size, founding year, CNPJ, and certifications

Missing facts are left out. The Actor does not add facts from company websites or other sources. A catalog listing or certification field is source data, not a separate supplier check.

#### ▶️ Collect company profiles

1. Set **Maximum companies** for a small collection. The form starts at 10.
2. Leave it empty to return all available companies until the source is exhausted.
3. Leave **Earlier run ID** empty for a new collection, or enter an earlier run ID to continue it.
4. Click **Start**, then open **Company profiles** in the Output tab.

You do not need AEB login details. To continue a collection, copy the earlier run ID from its page in Apify Console. Companies already delivered by that collection are skipped. The limit then counts only newly delivered companies.

#### ⚙️ Input

| Field | Type | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `maxItems` | integer | Stops after delivering this many companies. Use a positive whole number, or leave it empty to return all available companies until the source is exhausted. When continuing a run, it counts only newly delivered companies. |
| `previousRunId` | string | Apify run ID of an earlier collection by this Actor to continue. Companies already delivered are skipped. Leave it empty to start a new collection. |

This input is copied from a successful current-beta run with the form's starting limit:

```json
{
  "maxItems": 10
}
```

#### 💳 Pricing

This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing. One **Company profile** event covers one company profile saved to your dataset. See the Store pricing panel for current rates. Companies skipped when continuing an earlier collection do not create a new company-profile charge.

#### 🔌 Integrations

Use the Apify API to start a run and read its dataset, or export the rows for your supplier research workflow. Company website and LinkedIn fields are links from the catalog; the Actor does not collect data from those pages.

#### ❓ FAQ

##### Can I continue an earlier collection without repeating companies?

Yes. Enter that collection's Apify run ID in `previousRunId`. Companies already delivered by that collection are skipped. If you set `maxItems`, it counts only newly delivered companies in the new run.

##### Will every company have contact details or a CNPJ?

No. These fields appear only when the catalog publishes them. The Actor does not infer missing facts or verify contact details.

##### Does it collect details from company websites or LinkedIn?

No. It returns the links published in the AEB catalog. It does not enrich profiles from those sites.

##### How do I collect the full available catalog?

Leave `maxItems` empty. The Actor returns all available companies until the source is exhausted. Use a positive whole number for a smaller collection.

##### Does it track changes over time?

No. It collects catalog profiles. Continuing an earlier collection skips companies already delivered; it does not produce change alerts.

##### What does AEB mean here?

AEB means Agência Espacial Brasileira, the Brazilian Space Agency. This Actor reads its public space industry supplier catalog.

##### Do I need an AEB account?

No. The Actor reads the public catalog without buyer login details for AEB.
