## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## ATS Jobs Scraper: Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters & Recruitee

Get **every open job** from company career boards in **one normalized format**, whichever applicant tracking system (ATS) the company uses.

| ATS | Example careers URL |
|---|---|
| Greenhouse | `boards.greenhouse.io/stripe` |
| Lever | `jobs.lever.co/palantir` |
| Ashby | `jobs.ashbyhq.com/openai` |
| Workable | `apply.workable.com/huggingface` |
| SmartRecruiters | `jobs.smartrecruiters.com/BoschGroup` |
| Recruitee | `bunq.recruitee.com` |

You don't need to know which ATS a company uses. Type the company slug (e.g. `openai`) and the tool finds the board automatically.

### Why this tool

- **One schema for six job boards**: title, company, location, remote flag, department, employment type, salary (when published), posting date, job URL and an optional clean-text description.
- **Filters**: keywords, excluded keywords, locations, remote only, and posted within the last N days.
- **Public job-board APIs**: the tool reads the same public feeds that power companies' careers pages. That makes it fast and cheap, with no browsers and no proxies.
- **Per-company summary**: shows which ATS was detected, how many jobs are open and how many matched your filters.

### Use cases

- **Recruiters & sourcers**: track openings at target companies every day.
- **Sales teams**: use "who is hiring X" lists as buying signals. For example, a company hiring 5 data engineers likely needs data tools.
- **Job boards & newsletters**: find fresh roles from hundreds of startups and link to the original postings.
- **Market research**: analyze hiring trends by department, location and remote share.

### Input example

```json
{
  "companies": ["https://boards.greenhouse.io/stripe", "jobs.lever.co/palantir", "openai", "lever:netflix"],
  "keywords": ["engineer", "data"],
  "locations": ["Remote", "London"],
  "postedWithinDays": 30,
  "includeDescription": false
}
```

### Output (one item per job)

```json
{
  "title": "Abuse Research Engineer",
  "company": "Stripe",
  "location": "Remote from the US",
  "remote": true,
  "department": "Security Analytics",
  "employmentType": null,
  "salary": null,
  "postedAt": "2026-09-09T14:52:09.000Z",
  "url": "https://stripe.com/jobs/search?gh_jid=8172503",
  "jobId": "8172503",
  "ats": "greenhouse",
  "companySlug": "stripe"
}
```

### Pricing

Pay per event: you pay **per job returned** after your filters. Companies with no public board found cost nothing, and a company you list twice is returned and charged once.

### Good to know

- SmartRecruiters returns the first 100 open positions per company.
- Salary is only included when the company publishes it on its board (common on Lever, Ashby and Recruitee).
- Job descriptions belong to the employers that wrote them. Check your rights before republishing them, or link to the original posting.
- This tool is independent and is not endorsed by any of the job-board providers named here.

### FAQ

**How do I know which ATS a company uses?**
You don't need to — type the company slug and the tool tries every supported job board automatically. The `SUMMARY` record shows what was detected.

**How much does it cost?**
You pay only per result (see the Pricing tab) — no subscription. Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, so you can try it for free.

**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. Click **Schedule** in Apify Console to run it hourly, daily or weekly, and get the results by email, webhook, Google Sheets or Slack.

**Can I use it from my code or an AI agent?**
Yes — call it through the Apify API (JavaScript and Python clients), connect it to Make, Zapier or n8n, or let Claude, ChatGPT and other agents use it via the Apify MCP server.

**Something doesn't work — what now?**
Open an issue on the **Issues** tab. I usually reply within a day and ship fixes fast.
