## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Finder: Emails, Phones & Socials

Give it a list of websites and get the **business contact details each company publishes**:

- **Emails** from `mailto:` links, page text, Cloudflare-protected addresses (decoded) and obfuscated forms like `name [at] domain [dot] com`. Addresses on the company's own domain are listed first.
- **Phone numbers** from `tel:` links and international numbers written on the page, normalized to digits (`+14155550100`).
- **Social profiles**: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, WhatsApp and Telegram. Share buttons are ignored.
- **Where each email was found**, so you can verify it.

The tool checks the homepage first and then follows **contact, about, team, support and impressum pages**. Link names are recognized in English, Hebrew, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Arabic and Russian.

### Pay only for results

You are charged **only for websites where at least one contact was found**. Websites with no contacts, that are unreachable, or that block automated access are listed in the results and cost nothing.

### Input

```json
{
  "urls": ["example.com", "https://shop.example.co.uk"],
  "maxPagesPerSite": 5,
  "maxConcurrency": 10
}
```

### Output (one item per website)

```json
{
  "domain": "acme.co.il",
  "emails": ["sales@acme.co.il", "info@acme.co.il"],
  "phones": ["+97235551234"],
  "facebook": "https://www.facebook.com/acme",
  "instagram": "https://www.instagram.com/acme/",
  "linkedin": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/acme",
  "whatsapp": "https://wa.me/972501234567",
  "emailSources": { "sales@acme.co.il": "https://www.acme.co.il/contact-us" },
  "pagesVisited": ["https://www.acme.co.il/", "https://www.acme.co.il/contact-us"],
  "hasContacts": true,
  "error": null
}
```

### Use cases

- Enrich a list of company domains with contact details for B2B outreach or a CRM.
- Find the official support email or WhatsApp of suppliers and partners.
- Give AI agents a fast "how do I contact this company?" tool.

### Good to know

- It uses plain HTTP requests, so it is fast and cheap. No proxies are used and bot protection is not bypassed. Sites that refuse automated access are reported.
- Only details published on the company's own website are collected. You are responsible for using contact data in line with the laws that apply to you (GDPR, CAN-SPAM and local anti-spam laws).

### FAQ

**Why are no emails found for some sites?**
Many companies publish only a contact form. You are charged only for websites where at least one email, phone or social profile is found.

**How much does it cost?**
You pay only per result (see the Pricing tab) — no subscription. Apify's free plan includes monthly credit, so you can try it for free.

**Can I run it on a schedule?**
Yes. Click **Schedule** in Apify Console to run it hourly, daily or weekly, and get the results by email, webhook, Google Sheets or Slack.

**Can I use it from my code or an AI agent?**
Yes — call it through the Apify API (JavaScript and Python clients), connect it to Make, Zapier or n8n, or let Claude, ChatGPT and other agents use it via the Apify MCP server.

**Something doesn't work — what now?**
Open an issue on the **Issues** tab. I usually reply within a day and ship fixes fast.
