## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Otodom Poland Property Listings Scraper

Turn any Otodom.pl search into a clean dataset of apartments and houses for sale or rent in Poland: price, price per m², area, rooms, location and agency. Useful for market analysis, price monitoring, investment research and lead lists of agencies.

### Example output

Illustrative record (field layout as returned; values will vary):

```json
{
  "id": 12345678,
  "url": "https://www.otodom.pl/pl/oferta/example-slug-ID4abcd",
  "title": "Bright 3-room apartment near the metro",
  "estateType": "FLAT",
  "transaction": "SELL",
  "price": 950000,
  "currency": "PLN",
  "pricePerSquareMeter": 15200,
  "areaSquareMeters": 62.5,
  "rooms": "THREE",
  "floor": "FLOOR_3",
  "street": "ul. Przykładowa",
  "city": "Warszawa",
  "province": "mazowieckie",
  "isPrivateOwner": false,
  "agencyName": "Example Realty",
  "dateCreated": "2024-05-01 10:12:00",
  "imageUrls": ["https://..."]
}
```

### Input

- **Otodom search URLs**: result pages copied from otodom.pl after applying your filters.
- **Maximum listings**: total cap (default 50).
- **Maximum result pages per URL**: default 5.
- **Use Apify residential proxy**: optional; the Actor switches to it automatically if blocked.

### Output

One dataset item per listing: id, url, title, estate type, transaction, price, currency, price per m², rent price, area, rooms, floor, street, city, province, private-owner flag, agency name and URL, developer name, creation date, image URLs. No personal phone numbers or emails are collected.

### Pricing

$0.002 per result (listing), charged by the platform per dataset item.

### Limits

- Reads only public search pages visible to logged-out visitors.
- Up to 5000 listings per run; requests are rate-limited, with back-off on HTTP 429.
- Fields may be empty when a listing does not publish them (e.g. "ask for price").
- Otodom may change its page structure; the Actor then reports that no listings were found.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Otodom.pl search result URLs (set your filters on otodom.pl, then paste the URL).

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Maximum total number of listings to return (1-5000).

## `maxPagesPerUrl` (type: `integer`):

Maximum number of search result pages to read for each URL (about 36 listings per page).

## `useApifyProxy` (type: `boolean`):

Start with the proxy. If off, the Actor tries direct requests and switches to the proxy automatically if blocked.
