## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Behance Scraper: Designer Leads, Location & Social Links

Find **designers on Behance** by skill or name and get their **location, country, company, available-for-hire flag, followers, appreciations, views and social links**, with Instagram, LinkedIn, Dribbble, X and more split into their own columns. Filter by country, availability and follower count. **$2 per 1,000 designers.** No login, no account, no API key.

![How the Behance Scraper works](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/rsPOnVsggYL8qnLzw/records/how-it-works-behance.png)

```json
{
  "searchKeywords": ["logo designer", "brand identity"],
  "countries": ["USA", "United Kingdom"],
  "availableForHireOnly": true
}
```

| Input | Rows |
|---|---|
| Search keyword (`logo designer`, `ui ux`, `3d illustration`, a name) | Up to 100 designers |
| Countries, available for hire, min followers | Only the designers that pass are delivered and billed |

### Why Use This Scraper?

- **Leads with a way to reach them.** 9 in 10 designers list social links, split into `instagram`, `linkedin`, `dribbble`, `twitter`, `facebook`, `youtube`, `artstation`, `pinterest`, `tiktok` and `otherLinks` (portfolios and own sites).
- **Who is open to work.** `availableForHire` is set on about three quarters of profiles.
- **Country on every row.** Filter by country, or by a city or region named in the location.
- **Reach in numbers.** Followers, appreciations and project views to rank designers.
- **Billed once.** A designer found by several keywords is delivered and charged once. Filtered-out designers are free.

### Use Cases

- **Hiring and freelance sourcing:** designers in your country who are available for hire.
- **Agency and outsourcing lead lists:** designers and studios with their company and social accounts.
- **Talent mapping:** where designers of a specialty are, and who leads by followers.
- **Marketing outreach:** design-tool, font or stock-asset companies reaching working designers.
- **Recruiting research:** which companies designers work at.

### How It Works

1. Keywords are searched four at a time. Each search takes about a minute and returns up to 100 designers.
2. Your filters run on each search's results. Only designers that pass are delivered and billed.
3. A designer that comes back from a second keyword is skipped.
4. Every designer is charged as it is delivered, and the run stops cleanly at your spending limit.

### Input Configuration

| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `searchKeywords` | array | What the designers do, or a person's name. |
| `countries` | array | `Germany`, `United States` (or `USA`), `United Kingdom` (or `UK`), or a city or region. Empty = everywhere. |
| `availableForHireOnly` | boolean | Only designers available for hire. |
| `minFollowers` | integer | Only designers with at least this many followers. |
| `maxResultsPerKeyword` | integer | 20-100. Default 100. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Cap on designers. Default 1,000; free-plan runs return up to 100. |

#### Example input

UI and UX designers in Germany who are open to work:

```json
{
  "searchKeywords": ["ui ux designer", "product designer", "web designer", "app designer"],
  "countries": ["Germany"],
  "availableForHireOnly": true
}
```

  "searchKeyword": "logo designer"
}
```
### Key Output Fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| `location`, `country` | Where the designer says they are |
| `company` | Employer or "Freelance" |
| `availableForHire` | The designer accepts work offers |
| `followers`, `appreciations`, `views` | Behance followers, appreciations on their projects, project views |
| `instagram`, `linkedin`, `dribbble`, `twitter` … | The designer's account on each network |
| `otherLinks` | Links that are not one of those networks, usually a portfolio site |
| `searchKeyword` | The keyword that found the designer |
### FAQ
**How many designers does a keyword give?**
Up to 100. Behance gives no further pages, so use several related keywords for more: `logo designer`, `brand identity`, `logo`, `branding`.
**Does a place name in the keyword filter by place?**
No. `designer germany` returns designers from everywhere. Use the `countries` filter.
**Can I scrape one profile by its link?**
Not at the moment: profile lookup by username does not answer at the data source. Search by the designer's name instead.
**Are emails included?**
No. Behance does not show emails on public profiles. Social links and portfolio sites are included.
**Why are the LinkedIn links long?**
Behance wraps LinkedIn links in a redirect. They open the designer's LinkedIn page.
**Do I pay for designers my filters drop?**
No. Only delivered designers are billed.
**Do I need an account?**
No.
### Pricing
| Event | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Actor start | Once per run (per GB of memory, 256 MB default) | $0.005 |
| Designer | Each designer delivered | $0.002 |
Example: 10 keywords × 100 designers = 1,000 designers × $0.002 + $0.005 = $2.005.
## `minFollowers` (type: `integer`):
