**Do I need a TikTok account, cookies or a proxy?**
No.

**Does it record streams or read the chat?**
No. It returns data about rooms and the people in them, not the video or the chat messages.

**How current are the numbers?**
They are read at the moment of the run. Viewer counts change by the second on TikTok, so two runs a minute apart differ.

**Why did a category return nothing?**
Rooms can be listed for game categories (the "Gaming" group). Names must match TikTok's own; turn on `includeCategoryList` to see them. A name that does not match is skipped and not charged.

**Why do some rooms have no gifter rows?**
Gifters are read for rooms with at least 10 viewers.

**What does a streamer row cost when the username does not exist?**
The same $0.004. The row comes back with `found: false`, so a cleaned list is part of what you get.

**Do stream links work forever?**
No. `streamUrl` is signed by TikTok and expires; use it soon after the run.
