## Pricing

Pay per usage

This Actor is paid per platform usage. The Actor is free to use, and you only pay for the Apify platform usage, which gets cheaper the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website Contact Extractor: emails, phones & social links from any list of domains

Give it a list of company websites (or bare domains) and get back, per website: **emails, phone numbers, LinkedIn / X (Twitter) / Facebook / Instagram / YouTube / TikTok / GitHub / Pinterest links, the contact page URL and whether it has a contact form.**

- **Smart, small crawl**: home page + the pages most likely to hold contacts (contact, about, team, impressum/imprint, legal, support), up to 5 pages by default.
- **Finds hidden emails**: `mailto:` links, plain text and Cloudflare-obfuscated (`data-cfemail`) addresses; phones from `tel:` links and schema.org data.
- **Polite & compliant**: obeys every site's robots.txt (if robots.txt itself errors with 5xx/429 the site is skipped, per RFC 9309), no proxies, no logins, no form submission.
- **Respects your budget**: if your max cost per run is reached, the run stops crawling immediately, says so in the status message, and saves the websites it did not process to the `UNPROCESSED_WEBSITES` record so you can rerun just those.
- **Polite by design**: obeys robots.txt and crawls only a handful of likely contact pages per domain.

### Output (one row per website)

`input, domain, url, companyName, emails[], phones[], contactPageUrl, contactFormFound, linkedin, twitter, facebook, instagram, youtube, tiktok, github, pinterest, pagesCrawled, blockedByRobots, status, error, scrapedAt`

```json
{"domain":"plausible.io","companyName":"Plausible Analytics","emails":["hello@plausible.io"],"phones":[],
 "contactPageUrl":"https://plausible.io/contact","linkedin":"https://www.linkedin.com/company/plausible-analytics",
 "twitter":"https://twitter.com/PlausibleHQ","pagesCrawled":4,"status":"ok"}
```

Local test, 25 Oct 2026: 20 websites in 25 s, emails on 12, at least one contact channel on 18.

### Use cases

Enrich Google Maps / directory / CRM exports that only have a website column; build partner and supplier lists; find the right support or press address; dedupe leads by domain.

### Input

- `websites`: list of domains or URLs
- `maxPagesPerWebsite` (1-20, default 5)
- `onlySameDomainEmails`: drop gmail/agency addresses
- `maxConcurrency` (default 10)

### Pricing

Free to use for now: you only pay Apify's normal platform usage for the run. Pay-per-event pricing may be added later, with Apify's standard advance notice.

### Responsible use

This tool reads publicly published business contact details. You are responsible for how you use them: follow anti-spam and privacy law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR/ePrivacy, Australia's Spam Act) in your jurisdiction.

# Actor input Schema

## `websites` (type: `array`):

One per line: 'acme.com', 'https://www.acme.com', etc. Each website is processed once (home page plus likely contact pages).

## `maxPagesPerWebsite` (type: `integer`):

Home page + contact/about/team/impressum/support pages, up to this many (1-20).

## `onlySameDomainEmails` (type: `boolean`):

Drop emails on other domains (e.g. agency or gmail addresses).

## `maxConcurrency` (type: `integer`):

How many websites are crawled in parallel. Lower it to be gentler on slow sites; the default suits most lists.
