## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## HelloWork Jobs Scraper: salaries, full descriptions and new-job alerts (France)

Get job ads from **HelloWork**, one of France's largest job boards, as clean, structured data: title, company, city, contract type (CDI, CDD, intérim, alternance, stage, ...), **salary as numbers (min/max/period)**, remote-work policy, and optionally the full description, candidate profile, education level, experience and company description.

When an employer doesn't publish a salary, HelloWork shows its own **salary estimate** on the job page. With full descriptions enabled, this Actor captures it too (`salaryIsEstimate: true`). In our tests that gave a salary range for **~97% of jobs**.

Turn on **monitoring mode** and schedule it daily: each run returns **only jobs you haven't received before**, so you get a fresh-ads feed and never pay twice for the same job.

### What you can use it for

- **Recruiting agencies and sales prospecting.** Find French companies hiring right now, by role, city and contract type.
- **Job alerts and job boards.** Push new HelloWork ads into your site, Slack, Google Sheets or CRM every morning.
- **Salary benchmarks.** Compare pay by role and region. Salaries are numbers (`salaryMin`, `salaryMax`, `salaryPeriod`: year / month / day / hour), ready for a spreadsheet.
- **Labour-market studies.** Track hiring demand by sector, contract type and region over time.

### How to use it

1. Enter one or more **job titles or keywords** (`développeur`, `comptable`, `infirmier`, ...).
2. Optionally set a **location** (city, department or region), **contract types** and **posted within (days)**.
3. Set **Maximum jobs** and click **Start**.

Already have a filtered search on hellowork.com? Paste its URL into **HelloWork search URLs**.

#### Daily new-job feed

1. Turn on **Only new jobs (monitoring mode)** and give the feed a **monitoring key** (e.g. `lyon-dev`).
2. Create a **schedule** (e.g. every day at 07:00).
3. Each run saves only ads that appeared since the previous one. Connect an integration (email, Slack, webhook, Google Sheets) to receive them automatically.

### Output example

```json
{
  "id": "83511996",
  "title": "Concepteur Développeur Développeur Informatique H/F",
  "companyName": "CD Consulting",
  "location": "Wasquehal - 59",
  "contractType": "CDI",
  "remoteWork": "Télétravail partiel",
  "salaryText": "45 000 - 50 000 € / an",
  "salaryMin": 45000,
  "salaryMax": 50000,
  "salaryCurrency": "EUR",
  "salaryPeriod": "year",
  "salaryIsEstimate": false,
  "postedAgeText": "il y a 6 jours",
  "postedAtApprox": "2026-10-19T13:00:00.000Z",
  "isSuperRecruiter": true,
  "url": "https://www.hellowork.com/fr-fr/emplois/83511996.html",
  "searchQuery": "développeur",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-10-25T13:00:00.000Z"
}
```

With **Include full job descriptions** on, each job also gets `datePosted` (exact date), `reference`, `description`, `profile`, `companyDescription`, `descriptionHtml`, `education`, `experience`, `sector`, `domain` and `jobFamily`. When the employer gave no salary, it also fills `salaryMin`/`salaryMax` from HelloWork's estimate.

### Pricing

You pay per job saved, plus a small extra per job when full descriptions are enabled. There's no subscription. Set a **maximum cost per run** in the run options and the Actor stops cleanly when it's reached.

### Tips

- Broad searches (`commercial`, `développeur`) return thousands of ads. Narrow them by location or contract type, or raise **Max pages per search**.
- With an age limit, results are fetched newest-first and the Actor stops as soon as it reaches older ads, so you don't pay for pages you don't need.
- `postedAtApprox` is computed from HelloWork's "il y a 5 jours" label. Enable full descriptions for the exact `datePosted`.

### FAQ

**Is this legal?** The Actor collects only publicly visible job ads and no candidate data. You're responsible for using the data in line with GDPR and HelloWork's terms. Ask a lawyer if unsure.

**Something broke or a field is missing?** Open an issue on the Issues tab. The Actor is checked automatically every day and layout changes are fixed quickly.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

One search per entry, e.g. "développeur", "comptable", "infirmier". Leave empty if you only use HelloWork search URLs below.

## `location` (type: `string`):

City, department or region, e.g. "Lyon", "Paris", "Bretagne". Leave empty for all of France.

## `contractTypes` (type: `array`):

Only these contract types. Leave empty for all.

## `maxAgeDays` (type: `integer`):

Only jobs posted in the last N days. 0 = any age.

## `sortByDate` (type: `boolean`):

Sort results by publication date instead of relevance. Always on when an age limit or monitoring mode is used.

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Paste any HelloWork search-results URL with the filters you set on the website.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many jobs in total (across all searches).

## `includeDetails` (type: `boolean`):

Opens each job ad for the full description, candidate profile, company description, exact publication date, education level, experience, sector and HelloWork's salary estimate. Charged as an extra event per job.

## `onlyNewJobs` (type: `boolean`):

Skip jobs returned by earlier runs with the same monitoring key. Schedule this Actor daily to get a feed of fresh ads only — you're never charged twice for the same job.

## `monitoringKey` (type: `string`):

Name for the list of already-seen jobs. Use a different key for each independent feed (e.g. "lyon-dev", "paris-compta").

## `maxPagesPerQuery` (type: `integer`):

Safety cap on result pages per search (30 jobs per page).

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings. The default Apify Proxy works well.
