# Website to Code - Tailwind, React, Vue & HTML (`miromiro/website-to-code`) Actor

Turn any website section (hero, navbar, pricing, features, footer...) into clean Tailwind, React (JSX), Vue or HTML + CSS code. Runs in a real browser, works on React, Next.js, Framer and Webflow sites.

## Pricing

from $50.00 / 1,000 section extracted as codes

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Website to Code: Tailwind, React, Vue & HTML

Paste a URL, pick a section, get **clean, ready-to-use code** for it: Tailwind, React (JSX), Vue or HTML + CSS. The page is loaded in a real browser and the code is read from what a visitor actually sees, so JavaScript-heavy sites (React, Next.js, Framer, Webflow, Shopify) work.

### What you get for each URL

- **Code** for the section you asked for: hero, header/navbar, footer, pricing, features, testimonials, FAQ or call to action
- A **preview link** showing the code rendered, and a **download link**
- The **colors and fonts** the section uses
- A list of **every other section** on the page with a ready selector, to extract more

### Use cases

- **AI website and app builders**: let users start from a site they like ("make my hero look like linear.app")
- **Agencies and freelancers**: rebuild a client's existing sections in a new stack in minutes
- **Developers**: grab a navbar, pricing table or footer as a starting point instead of writing it from scratch
- **Design research**: collect the hero sections of 50 competitors as working code

### Input example

```json
{ "urls": ["https://stripe.com", "https://linear.app"], "section": "pricing", "framework": "tailwind" }
```

### Output example (shortened)

```json
{
  "url": "https://linear.app",
  "ok": true,
  "section": "hero",
  "framework": "tailwind",
  "code": "<section class=\"relative mx-auto max-w-6xl px-6 pt-32\">…</section>",
  "tokens": { "colors": ["#08090a", "#5e6ad2"], "fonts": ["Inter Variable"] },
  "sections": [{ "selector": "section.pricing", "label": "Pricing", "order": 5 }],
  "previewUrl": "https://miromiro.app/p/…",
  "downloadUrl": "https://miromiro.app/p/c-…"
}
```

### Pricing

**$0.05 per extracted section.** URLs that fail (site down, blocked, section missing) are not charged. The same page and settings are cached for 24 hours, so re-runs are fast.

Want an Elementor template or a Shopify section instead? Use [Website to Elementor & Shopify](https://apify.com/miromiro/website-to-elementor-shopify).

### Limits

Public pages only (nothing behind a login). A few sites refuse automated browsers; they return an error row and are free.

### Need more volume, or an API?

The same engine is available as the [MiroMiro API](https://miromiro.app/api?utm_source=apify\&utm_medium=store\&utm_campaign=website-to-code) (free plan, then monthly plans with white label for products you sell) and as an [MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor](https://miromiro.app/api/mcp?utm_source=apify\&utm_medium=store\&utm_campaign=website-to-code).

# Actor input Schema

## `urls` (type: `array`):

One or more public web pages. Each URL is one result and one charge. Failed URLs are free.

## `section` (type: `string`):

Which part of the page to turn into code.

## `selector` (type: `string`):

Extract exactly this element instead of a named section. Every result lists the page’s sections with ready selectors.

## `framework` (type: `string`):

The format of the returned code.

## `theme` (type: `string`):

For sites with a dark mode: which version to extract.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://stripe.com"
  ],
  "section": "hero",
  "framework": "tailwind",
  "theme": "light"
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

One row per URL: the extracted result, or ok=false with the error (not charged).

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "urls": [
        "https://stripe.com"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("miromiro/website-to-code").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
