## Changelog

### 1.2 (2026-11-07)

- When opening the named baseline store fails with HTTP 403 or `insufficient-permissions`, the run uses its default key-value store and continues. Apify's automated QA token cannot create named stores; that path used to crash before any store was checked. A first look still finishes as `baseline_saved`. Runs that can create `shopify-store-monitor-state` still keep the baseline there. No price or event-name change.

### 1.1 (2026-11-04)

- An empty public catalog after a saved baseline is reported as `empty_catalog` and does not emit a `REMOVED_PRODUCT` for every product. The previous baseline is kept. The store row explains a zero-product result (empty catalog, or filters that matched nothing). No price or event-name change.

### 1.0 - listing update (2026-11-03)

- No change in behavior or prices.
- New Store title ("Shopify Price Tracker & Stock Monitor - New Products") and description (says "back in stock" and "no stock quantities").
- README: quick answer for when to pick the Actor, key terms, use cases with ready inputs, comparison, field reference, MCP call example, webhook, Zapier and Make recipes, more FAQ.
- Dataset views now include `recordType`, so change rows and store summary rows can be told apart.
- Billing event "Change detected" is now titled "Detected change" (same event, same prices).

### 1.0 (2026-11-03)

- First release.
- Changes mode: compares each store with the previous run and reports new products, price drops, price increases, sell-outs, restocks and removed products. The first run saves a baseline.
- Snapshot mode: lists all products of a store as they are now.
- Collection URLs, keyword filters, minimum price change, named watchlists.
- Reads each store's robots.txt first (can be switched off) and skips stores that disallow the catalog.
