## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Sports Odds & Public Betting Splits: NFL, NCAAF, NBA, NCAAB, WNBA, MLB, NHL, Soccer

**Sports betting odds plus public betting splits (tickets % and money %) for each game, with the consensus line, the opening line and up to six sportsbooks in one row.**

One row per game, at a flat price per game. No login, no API key and no proxy are needed: the Actor reads Action Network's public scoreboard feed (api.actionnetwork.com), which answers anonymous requests.

### What you get

- **Public betting splits.** For the moneyline, the spread and the total: the share of tickets and the share of money on each side, plus a sharp-money gap on the moneyline (money % minus tickets %).
- **Lines in one row.** The consensus line, the opening line, DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers and bet365 prices, and the best available price per side across those books.
- **Eight leagues.** NFL, college football, NBA, college basketball, WNBA, MLB, NHL and the top soccer leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, MLS), at one flat price per game.

### Read this before you use it

- **Odds are pre-game, not live in-play.** For games that are in progress or finished, the row carries the pre-game lines. Live in-play prices are never returned. For finished games the source's consensus can be a settled or late line rather than a true closing line (for example a 2-2 soccer draw whose consensus shows a -100 draw price), so treat past-date odds as informational.
- **The sportsbooks are the New Jersey storefronts** (DraftKings NJ, FanDuel NJ, BetRivers NJ, BetMGM NJ, bet365 NJ, Caesars NJ). Prices in other states can differ. A book is left out of `books` when the source did not list it for that game, so a row can carry fewer than six books.
- **Past dates return the finished games with their last lines and splits.** Tested and working: NHL, MLB, soccer and NBA by `date` (for example NHL one week back returned 14 of 14 games with odds, splits, scores and winners; NBA was tested on 2026-04-18) and NFL by `week` (week 3). Past dates for other leagues were not verified.
- **Off-season leagues return 0 games.** On 2026-10-17 NBA and college basketball returned no games, which is correct and not an error.
- **Splits can be empty.** `*TicketsPct`, `*MoneyPct` and the sharp-gap fields are `null` when the source reports no tickets on a game's consensus moneyline (seen for some scheduled games and for some finished games). When no tickets are recorded on the moneyline the splits are `null`, not 0%; individual percentages that the source reports as 0 stay 0. In our checks splits were null on 3.2% of the rows of a default run and on 11.9% of the rows when `onlyWithOdds` was off, so do not assume every row has them.
- **Football is fetched by week.** The source ignores the date for NFL and college football and returns the current week. To get another week, set `week` (and `season` if it is not the current one).
- **One snapshot per run.** Every row is the state at `scrapedAt`. To follow line movement, schedule the Actor and compare runs, or compare each consensus price with its `open*` field.

### Input

| field | default | what it does |
|---|---|---|
| `leagues` | NFL, NHL, soccer | One or more of `nfl`, `ncaaf`, `nba`, `ncaab`, `wnba`, `mlb`, `nhl`, `soccer`. Required. |
| `date` | today (US Eastern) | `YYYY-MM-DD`. Used by NBA, NCAAB, WNBA, MLB, NHL and soccer. |
| `days` | 1 | 1 to 7 consecutive days starting at `date` (daily leagues only). |
| `week`, `season` | current week | NFL and college football only. `season` is used only together with `week`. |
| `books` | all | Trims the nested `books` list only. Consensus, splits, opening line and best prices are always included. |
| `status` | all | `scheduled`, `inprogress` or `complete`. All also includes `cancelled` games (subject to `onlyWithOdds`). |
| `onlyWithOdds` | on | Keeps only games that have both an away and a home consensus moneyline. Skips games with no odds yet (for example weeks ahead) and games whose market has been pulled. |
| `maxResults` | 500 | Hard cap on games written, at most 5,000. |

Example input: `{ "leagues": ["nfl", "nhl", "soccer"] }`

### Output

One row per game. A test run on 2026-10-17 with the input above returned 61 games (14 NFL, 14 NHL, 33 soccer) in about 6 seconds.

| group | fields |
|---|---|
| Game | `gameId`, `league`, `competition` (for soccer the league, for example `seriea`), `season`, `week`, `startTime` (UTC), `status` (`scheduled`, `inprogress`, `complete` or `cancelled`), `statusDisplay`, `awayTeam`, `homeTeam`, `awayAbbr`, `homeAbbr`, `awayRotation`, `homeRotation`, `awayScore`, `homeScore`, `winner` (`away`, `home` or `null`), `numBets`, `broadcast` |
| Consensus line (American odds) | `consensusMlAway`, `consensusMlHome`, `consensusMlDraw`, `consensusSpreadAway`, `consensusSpreadAwayOdds`, `consensusSpreadHome`, `consensusSpreadHomeOdds`, `consensusTotal`, `consensusOverOdds`, `consensusUnderOdds` |
| Implied probability | `consensusMlAwayImpliedProb`, `consensusMlHomeImpliedProb`, `consensusMlDrawImpliedProb` (from the moneyline price, 4 decimals, not adjusted for the bookmaker margin) |
| Public betting splits (%) | `mlAwayTicketsPct`, `mlAwayMoneyPct`, `mlHomeTicketsPct`, `mlHomeMoneyPct`, `mlDrawTicketsPct`, `mlDrawMoneyPct`, `spreadAwayTicketsPct`, `spreadAwayMoneyPct`, `spreadHomeTicketsPct`, `spreadHomeMoneyPct`, `overTicketsPct`, `overMoneyPct`, `underTicketsPct`, `underMoneyPct` |
| Sharp gap | `mlAwaySharpGap`, `mlHomeSharpGap`: money % minus tickets % for that side. Positive means that side takes a larger share of the money than of the tickets. |
| Opening line | `openMlAway`, `openMlHome`, `openMlDraw`, `openSpreadAway`, `openSpreadHome`, `openTotal` |
| Best price | `best`: for `mlAway`, `mlHome`, `mlDraw`, `overOdds`, `underOdds`, `spreadAwayOdds`, `spreadHomeOdds`, an object `{ odds, book }` or `null`. Only the six sportsbooks compete. Spread and total prices compete only among books quoting the same line as the consensus. Ties go to the first book in the order DraftKings, FanDuel, BetRivers, BetMGM, bet365, Caesars. |
| Per-book lines | `books`: one entry per available book (`Consensus`, `Open` and up to six sportsbooks) with `mlAway`, `mlHome`, `mlDraw`, `spreadAway`, `spreadAwayOdds`, `spreadHome`, `spreadHomeOdds`, `total`, `overOdds`, `underOdds` |
| Run | `scrapedAt` |

### Pricing

Pay per result, at the rate shown in the pricing panel of this page, plus a very small per-run start fee. You are charged only for the results delivered.

### Good to know

- A run makes one request per league per day (per week for NFL and college football), so a typical run takes a few seconds.
- If the source is unreachable or returns something other than the expected data, the run stops with an error message and keeps the games already written. It does not retry past a block and it does not use proxies or accounts.
- A game can be in the data with missing prices, for example when a market has been pulled for a game in progress. Missing values are `null`.
- `winner` is set only for finished games with a winning side (a drawn soccer match has `null`). Scores come straight from the source: NFL and soccer games have none before the start, but NHL games report 0 to 0 before the start, so use `status` to tell a scheduled game from a goalless one.
