## Pricing

Pay per event

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

**Live petrol, diesel, LPG, E85 and HVO prices for ~43,000 fuel stations in France, Spain and Italy, from official government open data.** Search around a point, filter by postal code, city, brand or fuel, sort by cheapest, or run it on a schedule and get only the stations whose prices changed.

It's one normalized schema for three countries, with coordinates, opening information and licence attribution included. It uses no scraping of private comparison sites, only the official feeds that fuel retailers are legally required to report to.

### What does EU Fuel Prices do?

| Country | Official source | Stations | Refresh at source | Licence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 🇫🇷 France | Ministère de l'Économie, prix-carburants.gouv.fr | ~9,800 | ~every 10 min | Licence Ouverte 2.0 |
| 🇪🇸 Spain | MITECO, Geoportal Gasolineras | ~11,500 | every 30 min | CC BY 4.0 |
| 🇮🇹 Italy | MIMIT, Osservatorio prezzi carburanti | ~21,700 | daily (08:00 snapshot) | IODL 2.0 |

For each station you get normalized prices (`diesel`, `e5`, `e10`, `petrol_premium`, `lpg`, `e85`, `cng`, `lng`, `hvo`, `adblue`, `hydrogen`…), the time each price was last updated (UTC), address, postal code, city, province, coordinates, brand (Spain and Italy), road/motorway flag, services and distance from your search point.

### Who is it for?

- **Fleet managers and logistics**: find the cheapest diesel along a depot area, track what drivers should pay, audit fuel-card transactions.
- **Apps and websites**: power a fuel-price map or comparator without maintaining three different government feeds.
- **Analysts, journalists, researchers**: daily price history by region or brand, margin and pass-through studies.
- **Fuel retailers**: monitor competitors' prices around your stations and react faster.

### How to use it

1. Choose **Countries**.
2. Either set a **Latitude / Longitude / Radius** (e.g. 48.8566, 2.3522, 5 km), or use **Postal code prefixes** / **Cities**, or leave everything empty for whole-country snapshots.
3. Optionally keep only certain **Fuel types** or **Brands**, pick **Sort by cheapest**, and cap with **Max stations** for a top-N list.
4. Click **Start** and export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or call it via API.
5. For monitoring, schedule it (e.g. hourly) with **Only stations whose prices changed** enabled.

```
In change mode, rows also carry `changeType` (`new` / `changed`) and `previousPrices`.
#### Fuel types
| Key | France | Spain | Italy |
|---|---|---|---|
| `diesel` | Gazole | Gasóleo A | Gasolio |
When a station publishes several prices for one normalized fuel (e.g. Italian self-service vs attended), `prices` keeps the lowest. Enable **Include raw prices** to get every published price with its original name.
### How much does it cost?
You pay **per station returned**. Filtering by radius, postal code, fuel or brand, and **Max stations**, keeps runs cheap. Change mode returns only stations whose prices moved. See the **Pricing** tab.
### Tips
- Whole-country runs return thousands of rows: use them for daily snapshots, and radius/postal filters for apps.
- Use a different **Monitor name** per filter set when scheduling change mode.
- If one country's official server is down, the other countries still run and you aren't charged for the missing one.
### FAQ
**How fresh are the prices?**
As fresh as each government feed: minutes for France, 30 minutes for Spain, daily for Italy. `priceUpdatedAt` tells you when each station last reported each price.
**Why is the brand empty for France?**
The French official feed doesn't include brands. Spain and Italy do.
**Can I use the data commercially?**
All three sources are open licences that allow commercial reuse **with attribution**. Every row includes `source`, `license` and a ready-to-use `attribution` string.
**Does it include personal data?**
No. Station operators' names published in the Italian registry are deliberately dropped.
**Other countries?**
Germany, Austria, Portugal and the UK are being evaluated; their licences or access terms are checked first. Tell us on the **Issues** tab which country you need.
# Actor input Schema
## `countries` (type: `array`):
Official national open-data sources: France (~9,800 stations, updated every ~10 min), Spain (~11,500, every 30 min), Italy (~22,000, daily).
## `latitude` (type: `number`):
Center of a radius search (decimal degrees, e.g. 48.8566). Leave empty to get whole countries (or use postal code / city filters).
## `longitude` (type: `number`):
Center of a radius search (e.g. 2.3522).
## `radiusKm` (type: `integer`):
Only stations within this distance of the point (default 10 km when a point is set).
## `postalCodePrefixes` (type: `array`):
Keep stations whose postal code starts with one of these (e.g. 75 for Paris, 28 for Madrid province). Italy has no postal codes in the source.
## `cities` (type: `array`):
Exact city/municipality names (case-insensitive), e.g. Lyon, Madrid, Roma.
## `fuelTypes` (type: `array`):
Keep only stations selling at least one of these fuels. Empty = all.
## `brands` (type: `array`):
Keep stations whose brand contains one of these words (e.g. Repsol, Eni, Total). France has no brand field in the official data.
## `sortByCheapest` (type: `string`):
Sort stations by the price of this fuel (cheapest first). Default: by distance when a location is set.
## `maxStations` (type: `integer`):
Output at most this many stations (0 = no limit). Combine with 'Sort by cheapest' for a top-N list.
## `onlyChanged` (type: `boolean`):
Incremental mode for scheduled runs: output only stations whose prices changed since the previous run with the same monitor name. The first run outputs everything and stores a baseline.
## `monitorName` (type: `string`):
Runs with the same name (and countries) share state. Use one name per filter set.
## `includeRawPrices` (type: `boolean`):
Adds every price exactly as published (original fuel names, self-service flag in Italy).
