## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

## Credit Karma Offer Scraper

Collects public credit-card offers from Credit Karma's marketplace category
pages (creditkarma.com/credit-cards). For each card it returns the name, member
star rating, review count, rewards rate, annual fee, welcome bonus, editorial
tagline, card art image, benefit highlights and the apply link. Only anonymous,
public listings are read — no login and no personalized data.

### Input

| Field | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| `categories` | `cash-back-cards,rewards-cards,no-annual-fee` | Comma-separated category slugs (e.g. `good-credit`, `student-cards`, `travel`, `balance-transfer`). |
| `limit` | `60` | Maximum total offers across all categories (1–500). |
| `min_rating` | `0` | Keep only cards rated at or above this value (0–5); 0 disables. |
| `annual_fee_free_only` | `false` | Keep only `$0` / no-annual-fee cards. |
| `proxyConfiguration` | US proxy on | Optional. Enable a US-based proxy for the most reliable results. |

# Actor input Schema

## `categories` (type: `string`):

Comma-separated Credit Karma credit-card category slugs to scrape, taken from the URL creditkarma.com/credit-cards/<slug>. Examples: cash-back-cards, rewards-cards, no-annual-fee, good-credit, fair-credit, bad-credit, student-cards, no-credit, balance-transfer, travel.

## `limit` (type: `integer`):

Maximum total number of card offers to return across all categories.

## `min_rating` (type: `integer`):

Only keep cards with a Credit Karma member star rating at least this high (0-5). 0 disables the filter; cards without a rating are dropped when this is above 0.

## `annual_fee_free_only` (type: `boolean`):

When enabled, only return cards whose annual fee is $0 / no annual fee.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings for the run. Enable a US-based proxy for the most reliable results, especially for sites that limit non-US or datacenter traffic. Optional — leave off to run directly.
