## Pricing

from $1.50 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

![Humanitix Scraper - scrape data with Apify](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/kE36venAoVchGsE6b/records/humanitix-scraper--hero.png)

Extract event listings and full event detail pages from [Humanitix](https://humanitix.com) - the charity-backed ticketing platform used for community events, fundraisers, conferences, workshops, and nonprofit causes across Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, and more. Point it at a country or a specific city and get back structured event data: dates, venue, pricing, category, and the organizer running the event - ready for API access, scheduled monitoring, and integration into your own tools.

### What does Humanitix Event Scraper do?

This Actor browses Humanitix's live event listings for any supported country or city and pulls back a clean, structured row per event - or fetches one specific event page in full depth, including every ticket tier and the organizer's public contact details. No login or account is required. Run it once for a one-off export, or schedule it on Apify to keep a category or region under continuous watch, with automatic proxy rotation and retries handled for you.

### Why use Humanitix Event Scraper?

Humanitix skews toward community events, conferences, fundraisers, workshops, and nonprofit causes rather than big-ticket entertainment - which makes it a useful, comparatively under-served data source for:

- **Event and venue discovery** - build local "what's on" feeds for a city, region, or category.
- **Organizer and lead research** - every event carries its host's name, profile, follower count, and often a public website, social links, and contact email pulled straight from the event's own FAQ.
- **Nonprofit and charity monitoring** - filter directly to the Charity & Causes category to track fundraisers and community causes without wading through unrelated listings.
- **Pricing and calendar tracking** - watch ticket price ranges and upcoming dates for recurring or seasonal events over time.
- **Market research** - compare event volume and categories across Australia, the US, UK, New Zealand, and Canada.

### What makes this different

- **Organizer-first data.** Alongside standard event fields, every event detail row includes the organizer's name, profile link, follower count, website, social links, a short bio, and - when the organizer has published one in their event FAQ - a contact email. Most event scrapers stop at the listing; this one surfaces who is actually running it.
- **Category and charity filtering built in.** Browse by any of Humanitix's 20 event categories, including Charity & Causes, rather than only free-text search.
- **Five-country coverage from one Actor.** Switch between Australia, the US, UK, New Zealand, and Canada with a single input field.
- **Full ticket-tier breakdown.** Event detail rows list every individual ticket type and add-on with its own price, not just a single "from" price.

### How to use Humanitix Event Scraper

![How the Humanitix Scraper works](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/kE36venAoVchGsE6b/records/humanitix-scraper--how-it-works.png)

1. Click **Try for free** (or **Start**) to open the Input tab.
2. Choose an **Operation**: "Browse events" for a list of events, or "Event details" for one specific event.
3. For browsing, pick a **Country**, optionally a **Location**, **Category**, and **Time frame**, then set **Max items**.
4. For event details, paste one or more Humanitix event URLs, or leave it blank to fetch a live sample event.
5. Click **Start** and open the **Dataset** tab when the run finishes to view, filter, or export your results (JSON, CSV, Excel, HTML, and more).
6. For ongoing monitoring, save your input as a **Task** and add a **Schedule** so it runs automatically - e.g. daily for a category or city.

### Output

![Humanitix Scraper output data](https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/kE36venAoVchGsE6b/records/humanitix-scraper--output.png)

Each dataset row is one event. A browsed listing row looks like:

```json
{
    "_operation": "search",
    "status": "ok",
    "name": "A Night in Rio | Mounties Care Cottage Gala Dinner",
    "url": "https://events.humanitix.com/a-night-in-rio-gala",
    "startDate": "2026-10-10T07:30:00.000Z",
    "venueName": "Mounties Showroom",
    "address": "254 Humphries Rd, Mount Pritchard NSW 2170, Australia",
    "minPrice": 350,
    "maxPrice": 3500,
    "currency": "AUD",
    "category": "charityAndCauses",
    "organiserName": "Mounties",
    "organiserFollowers": 861,
    "country": "au"
}
```

An event-details row adds the full ticket breakdown and organizer profile:

```json
{
    "_operation": "eventDetails",
    "status": "ok",
    "name": "ICONS ONLY - Sydney",
    "url": "https://events.humanitix.com/icons-syd",
    "venueName": "Liberty Hall",
    "latitude": -33.8937908,
    "longitude": 151.2255878,
    "minPrice": 40,
    "maxPrice": 199,
    "currency": "AUD",
    "ticketTypes": [
        { "name": "First Release", "price": 89, "currency": "AUD" },
        { "name": "Meet & Greet w/ Queens + Show Access", "price": 199, "currency": "AUD" }
    ],
    "refundPolicy": "No refunds",
    "organiserName": "ITDEVENTS",
    "organiserFollowers": 2901,
    "organiserWebsite": "https://www.itdevents.com",
    "organiserBio": "Australia's leading LGBTQIA+ concert promoter since 2010.",
    "organiserContactEmail": "support@itdevents.com"
}
```

You can download the dataset in various formats such as JSON, HTML, CSV, or Excel.

### Usage examples

- **Track nonprofit fundraisers in Sydney:** `country: "au"`, `locationSlug: "au--nsw--sydney"`, `category: "charityAndCauses"`.
- **Find weekend events in your city:** set `timeFrame: "thisweekend"` for any location.
- **Build an organizer contact list:** run "Event details" against a batch of event URLs collected from a browse run.
- **Nationwide market snapshot:** leave `locationSlug` blank with a chosen `country` to cover the whole country.

### Known limitations

- Coverage is limited to events actually listed on Humanitix - it doesn't include events sold through other platforms.
- `organiserContactEmail` is only populated when an organizer has published a support email in their event's public FAQ; most events don't have one.
- Very large or long-tail categories/locations may have fewer results than more populous ones - this reflects real event volume on the platform, not an Actor limitation.
- Price fields reflect ticket face value; some events add a booking fee at checkout that isn't reflected here.

### FAQ

**Do I need a Humanitix account or API key?** No - the Actor works anonymously against publicly listed event pages.

**Can I filter to only free events?** Not as a dedicated toggle yet, but `minPrice`/`maxPrice` in the output let you filter free events (`minPrice: 0`) after the run.

**How do I find the exact location value for a city?** Browse to that city on humanitix.com and copy the location segment from the page URL (e.g. `au--vic--melbourne`).

**Something looks wrong or missing?** Open an issue on the Actor's Issues tab - reports are read and actioned. Custom extensions to this Actor's scope are also available on request.

### Legal

This Actor extracts data that is already publicly available on Humanitix's website. It is intended for legitimate research, lead generation, and monitoring use cases. You are responsible for using the collected data in compliance with applicable laws and Humanitix's own terms of service.

# Actor input Schema

## `operation` (type: `string`):

Which Humanitix data to scrape. One operation per run.

## `country` (type: `string`):

Which Humanitix country storefront to browse. Used by the "Browse events" operation.

## `locationSlug` (type: `string`):

A specific Humanitix location to browse, e.g. "au--nsw--sydney", "au--vic--melbourne", "us--ny--new-york", "gb--england--london". Find the exact value in a Humanitix location page's URL. Leave blank to browse the whole country selected above.

## `category` (type: `string`):

Filter to one event category, e.g. Charity & Causes for nonprofit/fundraiser events. Leave blank for all categories.

## `sortBy` (type: `string`):

Bias results toward recommended or currently trending events. Leave blank for the default relevance order.

## `timeFrame` (type: `string`):

Restrict results to a date window. Leave blank for all upcoming dates.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

Caps total rows returned for the "Browse events" operation (event details always returns one row per event). The first 10 rows of any run are free. Leave blank to use the default of 20.

## `eventUrl` (type: `string`):

A Humanitix event page URL (e.g. https://events.humanitix.com/some-event) or its slug. Used by the "Event details" operation. Leave blank to fetch a live sample event.

## `eventUrls` (type: `array`):

Many event URLs or slugs in one run. Wins over "Event URL" when filled.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Proxy settings for the run. Humanitix serves both operations over plain HTTP with no bot-verification challenge, so Apify's default proxy works well.
