## Pricing

from $8.00 / 1,000 store auditeds

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## AI Shopping & Agentic Commerce Readiness Checker

**Find out how ready an online store is to be found and bought from by AI shopping assistants and agents. You get a 0-100 score, 14 checks and a prioritised fix list for $0.01 per store.**

Shoppers now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI for product picks, and agents are starting to check out on their behalf. Those systems can only recommend what they can crawl and understand. This Actor audits each store the way they see it.

### Quick start

1. Press **Start**. The form is already filled with this example input, so the first run returns real rows in under a minute:

```json
{
  "domains": [
    "allbirds.com"
  ]
}
```

2. Swap in your own values, or call the Actor through the Apify API, Make, Zapier, n8n or the Python/JS clients with the same JSON.
3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the **Output** tab, or schedule the run to repeat.

### What it checks

| Group | Check | Points |
|---|---|---|
| AI crawler access | robots.txt lets AI search/assistant bots in (OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Claude-SearchBot, Claude-User) | 15 |
| | XML sitemap | 5 |
| | /llms.txt | 5 |
| Brand identity | Organization JSON-LD with name, logo, sameAs | 8 |
| | WebSite JSON-LD | 2 |
| | OpenGraph tags | 5 |
| Product data (sample product page) | Product JSON-LD present | 15 |
| | Offer with price, currency, availability | 10 |
| | Brand plus GTIN / MPN / SKU | 8 |
| | Image and description | 5 |
| | aggregateRating | 5 |
| | Shipping details and return policy | 7 |
| Agentic commerce | Agentic checkout manifest (/.well-known/ucp or Link header) | 5 |
| | Public machine-readable catalog (Shopify products.json / WooCommerce Store API) | 5 |

Training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, CCBot, meta-externalagent) are **listed but not scored**: blocking them is a fair business choice and does not stop a store from showing up in AI answers.

Checks that can't be run (e.g. the product page is blocked or robots.txt disallows a file) are marked `passed: null` and left out of the score, so a store is never punished for something we could not test.

### Sample output (real run, trimmed)

```json
{
  "domain": "colourpop.com",
  "score": 93,
  "grade": "A",
  "checksPassed": 13,
  "checksFailed": 1,
  "groupScores": { "AI crawler access": 100, "Brand identity": 100, "Product data": 86, "Agentic commerce": 100 },
  "platform": "Shopify",
  "sampleProductUrl": "https://colourpop.com/products/colour-me-merry-advent-calendar-2026",
  "aiSearchCrawlersBlocked": [],
  "aiTrainingCrawlersBlocked": [],
  "topRecommendations": ["Add shippingDetails and hasMerchantReturnPolicy to your Offer JSON-LD (or as an organisation-level MerchantReturnPolicy)."],
  "checks": [
    { "check": "product_identifiers", "group": "Product data", "weight": 8, "passed": true, "detail": "brand ✓; identifiers: gtin, mpn, sku" },
    { "check": "shipping_returns", "group": "Product data", "weight": 7, "passed": false, "detail": "no shippingDetails; no MerchantReturnPolicy" }
  ]
}
```

In the same test a WooCommerce butcher shop scored 30 (F): no Product JSON-LD on product pages, no llms.txt, no Organization schema.

### Who uses this

- **Shopify and e-commerce agencies**: run it on a prospect list and open every pitch with a concrete score and fix list.
- **Store owners and SEO/GEO teams**: check your own store and competitors, then re-run after fixes.
- **SaaS and app makers**: find stores that need your schema, feed or llms.txt product.

### How to use it

1. Add store domains (any platform). Press **Start**.
2. Optional: give a **sample product URL** per store; otherwise one is picked from the store's product feed or homepage.
3. Sort the dataset by `score`, or export to a sheet.

### Pricing

**$0.01 per store audited** (Silver $0.009, Gold $0.008) plus a $0.00005 start fee. Stores that can't be reached are free. 1,000 stores = $10.

### FAQ

**How many requests per store?** About 6-8 (homepage, robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt, product feed, one product page, UCP manifest), spaced politely.

**Is the score official?** No. It's our own transparent checklist based on public guidance from AI platforms and schema.org. Every check shows its points and the evidence, so you can judge for yourself.

**Can I schedule it?** Yes, create a Task and add a Schedule to track a store's progress week by week.

### Is it legal?

This Actor only reads pages and feeds that the website itself publishes to every visitor without a login. It obeys each site's robots.txt, keeps a polite request rate, and never tries to get past logins, paywalls, captchas or bot checks. It does not collect personal data such as emails, phone numbers or names of private individuals. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the source site's terms, copyright and the privacy laws that apply to you (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). This tool is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the platforms it reads.

# Actor input Schema

## `domains` (type: `array`):

Online stores to audit, e.g. "allbirds.com". Works with Shopify, WooCommerce and most other platforms.

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

One product page per store to test. If left out, a product is picked automatically from the store's product feed or homepage links.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Stop after this many audits. 0 = no cap. Your max cost per run is always respected.

## `proxyConfiguration` (type: `object`):

Usually not needed.

## Actor input object example

```json
{
  "domains": [
    "allbirds.com"
  ],
  "maxResults": 0,
  "proxyConfiguration": {
    "useApifyProxy": false
  }
}
```

# Actor output Schema

## `results` (type: `string`):

All results as a dataset (JSON, CSV, Excel and more via the API or Console).

## `summary` (type: `string`):

Counts of results, targets that succeeded or failed, and the stop reason.
