## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 companies

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## ARES Scraper: Czech Company Registry & IČO Lookup

**Search Czech companies in the official ARES register by name, ICO, city, NACE code, legal form or founding date: VAT ID, address, NACE, employee band. $1.50 per 1,000 companies.**

ARES, run by the Czech Ministry of Finance, joins the commercial register, the trade licence register, the statistical register (RES) and the VAT register into one record per company. It is the official starting point for any Czech B2B list or company check.

### Quick start

1. Press **Start**. The form is already filled with this example input, so the first run returns real rows in under a minute:

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "software"
  ],
  "cities": [
    "Brno"
  ],
  "maxResults": 20
}
```

2. Swap in your own values, or call the Actor through the Apify API, Make, Zapier, n8n or the Python/JS clients with the same JSON.
3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the **Output** tab, or schedule the run to repeat.

### Sample row (real run, trimmed)

### Who uses this

- **B2B sales teams**: build Czech prospect lists by city, sector and size.
- **Accountants, lawyers and KYC teams**: check an ICO, VAT ID, address and insolvency flag in seconds.
- **Analysts**: follow new company formation by sector.

### How to use it

1. Enter names or ICO numbers, or filter by city, NACE code, legal form and founding date.
2. Keep "Include employee band" on to size each company, or turn it off for faster bulk runs.
3. Run, export to CSV or Excel, or schedule it to catch new companies.

### Pricing

- **Company: $1.50 per 1,000 saved** (Silver $1.35, Gold $1.20)
- Plus $0.00005 per run. You pay only for companies saved after your filters. Searches with no matches are free.

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?** From the official ARES REST API of the Czech Ministry of Finance (ares.gov.cz), free to use without registration.

**Is any personal data included?** Natural persons (sole traders, self-employed farmers and foreign individuals doing business) are never requested or output, and no data about people (statutory bodies, shareholders, owners) is collected. Every row is a legal entity.

**How fresh is it?** Live. ARES reflects the source registers within a day.

**Can I get only new records each day?** Yes. Use the date window input and schedule the Actor; each run returns what is new in that window.

### Is it legal?

This Actor only reads official open-data APIs that the publisher offers to everyone without a login or key. It obeys robots.txt, stays under the published rate limits, and never tries to get past logins, paywalls, captchas or bot checks. Natural persons (sole traders, self-employed farmers and foreign individuals doing business) are never requested or output, and no data about people (statutory bodies, shareholders, owners) is collected. Every row is a legal entity. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the source's licence and terms and the privacy and marketing laws that apply to you (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PECR, etc.). This tool is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the data publisher.
