## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Singapore ACRA Company Scraper: UEN Lookup & Search

**Search Singapore's ACRA register of companies by name, UEN, SSIC industry code, postal code or registration date: status, activity, address, filings. $1.50 per 1,000 companies.**

ACRA's corporate entities dataset lists every company, limited liability partnership and foreign company registered in Singapore, with its UEN, status, SSIC industry codes and filing dates. It is the official source for Singapore company data.

### Quick start

1. Press **Start**. The form is already filled with this example input, so the first run returns real rows in under a minute:

```json
{
  "searchTerms": [
    "fintech"
  ],
  "maxResults": 15
}
```

2. Swap in your own values, or call the Actor through the Apify API, Make, Zapier, n8n or the Python/JS clients with the same JSON.
3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the **Output** tab, or schedule the run to repeat.

### Sample row (real run, trimmed)

```json
{
  "uen": "202644022R",
  "name": "ALLIED FINTECH PTE. LTD.",
  "entityType": "Local Company",
  "companyType": "Exempt Private Company Limited by Shares",
  "status": "Live Company",
  "registrationDate": "2026-09-23",
  "uenIssueDate": "2026-09-23",
  "primarySsicCode": "70201",
  "primarySsic": null,
  "primaryActivityDescription": null,
  "secondarySsicCode": "62021",
  "secondarySsic": null,
  "secondaryActivityDescription": null,
  "address": "2, VENTURE DRIVE, #19-21, VISION EXCHANGE, Singapore 608526",
  "postalCode": "608526",
  "addressType": "LOCAL",
  "numberOfOfficers": 3,
  "annualReturnDate": null,
  "accountsDueDate": "2028-07-31",
  "formerNames": [],
  "auditFirms": [],
  "issuingAgency": "ACRA",
  "sourceUrl": "https://data.gov.sg/collections/2/view"
}
```

Also included: company type, UEN issue date, secondary SSIC code and description, address type, number of officers, last annual return and accounts due dates, former names, audit firms and issuing agency.

### Who uses this

- **Sales and market-entry teams**: list Singapore companies in your SSIC sector.
- **Compliance and finance**: confirm a UEN, status and annual-return dates.
- **Analysts**: track company formation by industry.

### How to use it

1. Enter names or UENs, or filter by SSIC code, postal code, entity type and registration date.
2. Run. Each row has the SSIC codes with descriptions, address and filing dates.
3. Export, or schedule monthly to follow new registrations.

**Tip:** a name search runs across all 27 parts of the register, so a broad term with no other filter takes a minute or two. UEN look-ups are fast.

### Pricing

- **Company: $1.50 per 1,000 saved** (Silver $1.35, Gold $1.20)
- Plus $0.00005 per run. You pay only for companies saved after your filters. Searches with no matches are free.

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?** From ACRA's "Information on Corporate Entities" open data on data.gov.sg, published under the Singapore Open Data Licence.

**Is any personal data included?** Sole proprietorships and partnerships, which individuals register (often under their own name), are always excluded. The dataset itself has no officer, owner or shareholder names.

**How fresh is it?** ACRA refreshes the open dataset regularly (usually monthly); very recent registrations can take a few weeks to appear.

**Can I get only new records each day?** Yes. Use the date window input and schedule the Actor; each run returns what is new in that window.

### Is it legal?

This Actor only reads official open-data APIs that the publisher offers to everyone without a login or key. It obeys robots.txt, stays under the published rate limits, and never tries to get past logins, paywalls, captchas or bot checks. Sole proprietorships and partnerships, which individuals register (often under their own name), are always excluded. The dataset itself has no officer, owner or shareholder names. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the source's licence and terms and the privacy and marketing laws that apply to you (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PECR, etc.). This tool is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the data publisher.
