## Pricing

from $1.20 / 1,000 companies

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## Taiwan Company Registry Scraper: MOEA UBN Lookup

**Search Taiwan's official company register by name or Unified Business Number: status, capital, address, setup date and business scope codes. $1.50 per 1,000 companies.**

Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs publishes the company register as open data: every company limited and company limited by shares, with its Unified Business Number (UBN), capital, address and registered business activities. Few tools outside Taiwan cover it.

### Quick start

1. Press **Start**. The form is already filled with this example input, so the first run returns real rows in under a minute:

```json
{
  "companyNames": [
    "半導體"
  ],
  "maxResults": 20
}
```

2. Swap in your own values, or call the Actor through the Apify API, Make, Zapier, n8n or the Python/JS clients with the same JSON.
3. Download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel from the **Output** tab, or schedule the run to repeat.

### Sample row (real run, trimmed)

```json
{
  "businessNumber": "00054108",
  "companyName": "宇豐半導體股份有限公司",
  "status": "核准設立",
  "statusCode": "01",
  "active": true,
  "authorizedCapitalTwd": 10000000,
  "paidInCapitalTwd": 10000000,
  "parValuePerShareTwd": null,
  "issuedShares": null,
  "registeredAddress": "臺中市南屯區五權西路二段666號10樓之3之1",
  "registrationAuthority": "臺中市政府",
  "setupDate": "2024-09-30",
  "lastChangeApprovedDate": "2026-02-25",
  "dissolutionApprovedDate": null,
  "suspensionStart": null,
  "suspensionEnd": null,
  "businessScope": [
    {
      "code": "CC01080",
      "description": "電子零組件製造業"
    },
    {
      "code": "F401010",
      "description": "國際貿易業"
    },
    {
      "code": "F601010",
      "description": "智慧財產權業"
    },
    {
      "code": "I301010",
      "description": "資訊軟體服務業"
    }
  ],
  "businessScopeCount": 6,
  "matchedBy": "name:半導體",
  "registryUrl": "https://findbiz.nat.gov.tw/fts/query/QueryBar/queryInit.do?qryCond=00054108"
}
```

Also included: status code, authorized and paid-in capital, par value and issued shares, registration authority, last change, dissolution and suspension dates, the business scope list with codes, how each company was matched, and a link to the official findbiz record.

### Who uses this

- **B2B sales and sourcing teams**: build lists of Taiwanese manufacturers and suppliers by keyword.
- **KYC, compliance and credit teams**: confirm a UBN, status, capital and address.
- **Analysts**: profile sectors by capital and business scope.

### How to use it

1. Enter company names (Chinese works best) or Unified Business Numbers.
2. Keep "Include business scope" on for activity codes, or turn it off for faster runs.
3. Run, export, or schedule to monitor status changes.

**Tip:** names are matched on the Chinese registered name. The register has no English search.

### Pricing

- **Company: $1.50 per 1,000 saved** (Silver $1.35, Gold $1.20)
- Plus $0.00005 per run. You pay only for companies saved after your filters. Searches with no matches are free.

### FAQ

**Where does the data come from?** From the official MOEA Department of Commerce open data API (data.gcis.nat.gov.tw), free and without registration.

**Is any personal data included?** The responsible person (company representative) is never output. Sole proprietorships and business registrations of individuals are not part of this register. Every row is a company.

**How fresh is it?** Live. The MOEA updates the register daily.

**Can I get only new records each day?** Yes. Use the date window input and schedule the Actor; each run returns what is new in that window.

### Is it legal?

This Actor only reads official open-data APIs that the publisher offers to everyone without a login or key. It obeys robots.txt, stays under the published rate limits, and never tries to get past logins, paywalls, captchas or bot checks. The responsible person (company representative) is never output. Sole proprietorships and business registrations of individuals are not part of this register. Every row is a company. You are responsible for how you use the data: follow the source's licence and terms and the privacy and marketing laws that apply to you (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PECR, etc.). This tool is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the data publisher.
