## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

### TikTok Shop Scraper — Products, Sellers & Reviews

Extract TikTok Shop data at scale: **product listings and details, full seller catalogues, and the reviews
that come embedded in each product page**. Search by keyword, crawl an entire storefront, or pull a single
product — proxies handled, reliability first.

- 🔎 **Real discovery** — keyword search built in, not just "hand me a URL"
- 🧱 **Full seller catalogue crawl** — the whole storefront, paginated
- 🖼️ **Product detail with images + reviews** — description, all images, the SKU/variant matrix, specs, price,
  rating, and the reviews shown on the product page (with review images)
- 🚫 **No proxy setup, no browser** — pages are fetched over HTTP through an Apify US proxy

### What you can extract

| Input | You get |
|---|---|
| **Search keyword** | The results feed, paginated (~30–60 products/keyword): title, price, **discount**, rating, sold count, seller, image, product URL |
| **Product URL / ID** | Full detail: title, description, all images, SKU/variant matrix, specs, price, **discount**, rating, sold count, **shop name & rating** — **plus the reviews embedded in the page** (text, rating, author, images) and the total review count |
| **Seller store URL / ID** | The store's full paginated catalogue as listing rows |

Product inputs accept both `shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/x/<id>` and `www.tiktok.com/view/product/<id>` URLs, or a bare product ID.

### Scope (honest)

- **Reviews here are the ones embedded in the product page** (typically the first few, with images), plus the
  product's total review count. For the **complete review archive**, use the dedicated *TikTok Shop Reviews*
  Actor — it pages to TikTok's public cap.
- **Search paginates the results feed** (typically ~30–60 products per keyword; it stops when the feed is
  exhausted). Bound the depth with `resultsPerSearch`. For category-wide discovery, use the *Category* Actor.
- **Category browse is a separate Actor** on purpose — keeping it apart means its failure modes never affect
  this one's reliability.

### How to use

1. Click **Try for free** at the top of this page. Apify creates a free account if you do not have one — no card is needed to run this.
2. Put what you want scraped into **Search queries** — one per line.
3. Set **Results per search** to bound the run, then press **Start**. You are billed per row, so this field is also your budget.
4. Rows show up in the **Dataset** tab *while the run is still going*. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or XML from there, or read them over the API.

### Input

Every field, with its default — paste the whole block and delete what you do not need:

```json
{
  "searchQueries": [
    "led strip lights"
  ],
  "productUrls": [
    "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/x/1731965941287653978"
  ],
  "sellerUrls": [],
  "region": "US",
  "resultsPerSearch": 30,
  "maxProductsPerSeller": 100
}
```

Provide at least one of `searchQueries`, `productUrls`, or `sellerUrls`.

| field | |
|---|---|
| `searchQueries` | Shop search terms, one per line |
| `productUrls` | PDP links or bare product ids — feed these straight from a category or search run |
| `sellerUrls` | seller storefronts; the run walks each one's catalogue |
| `resultsPerSearch` | caps each search term. Default 30 |
| `maxProductsPerSeller` | caps each seller catalogue. Default 100, up to 500 |
| `region` | **US** is the storefront this is built and measured against. **GB is experimental** — TikTok enforces the region by the egress IP's country, so it needs a proxy in that country and has not been measured the way US has. Leave it on US unless you are deliberately testing GB. |

### Output

One row per product record. Every row carries `source` (`search`, `product` or `seller`) and, for search
rows, the `query` that found it — so a mixed run stays readable in one dataset.

| field | |
|---|---|
| `productId`, `title` | |
| `price`, `originPrice`, `discount`, `currency` | prices are decimal **strings** — money does not survive a float |
| `rating`, `reviewCount`, `soldCount` | counts are numbers |
| `sellerId`, `shopName` | |
| `image`, `pdpUrl` | feed `pdpUrl` straight into the Reviews Actor |

Product-detail rows carry more: `description`, all `images`, the `skus` variant matrix, `properties`,
`shopRating`, `reviewTotal`, and `reviews[]` — the reviews embedded on the page, each with `reviewId`,
`rating`, `text`, `createdAt`, `reviewer`, `verifiedPurchase` and `images`.

One row, exactly as it lands in your dataset (long signed CDN links shortened here for readability):

```json
{
  "source": "search",
  "query": "phone case",
  "productId": "1731987113638072822",
  "title": "junk phone case",
  "price": "20",
  "originPrice": null,
  "discount": null,
  "currency": "USD",
  "rating": 0,
  "reviewCount": 0,
  "soldCount": 0,
  "sellerId": "7496085867160504822",
  "shopName": "jaidaalize",
  "image": "https://p16-oec-general-useast5.ttcdn-us.com/tos-useast5-i-omjb5zjo8w-…?…",
  "pdpUrl": "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/pink-white-junk-phone-case-stylish-prot…"
}
```

#### Run it from your own code

Every Actor is an API endpoint. This starts a run, waits for it, and returns the rows in one call — swap in your token from **Settings → Integrations**:

```bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/mu0i~tiktok-shop-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "searchQueries": [
      "led strip lights"
    ],
    "productUrls": [
      "https://shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/x/1731965941287653978"
    ],
    "sellerUrls": [],
    "region": "US",
    "resultsPerSearch": 30,
    "maxProductsPerSeller": 100
  }'
```

### Pricing

Pay per result — you are billed for rows you receive, not for time or compute. A search result, a product
detail and a seller-catalogue item all bill the same, so a mixed run has one rate to reason about.

| Event | Per 1,000 | What one unit is |
|---|---:|---|
| `product` | $5.00 | one product record |

**Paid Apify plans pay less than this.** The table above is the free-plan rate. Starter, Scale and Business each get a lower per-unit price — up to **55% off** on Business — and the Actor's Pricing tab shows every tier before you run anything.

**Starting a run costs $0.00001** — a cent per thousand runs — and there is no run minimum. **You are never billed for a run that found nothing.** If an input has nothing to collect the run says so
in a row of the dataset — never a silently empty result, and never a charge. A run that fails because the
data could not be *reached* fails loudly, because that one is worth retrying.
No compute markup and no monthly rental.

### Our guarantees

1. **No charge for empty or errored results** — charges are gated on rows actually returned.
2. **Never billed for nothing** — an input with nothing to collect returns a row saying so and costs you
   nothing; only a genuine failure to reach the data is marked FAILED.
3. **Proxies handled internally** — no residential setup, no silent caps.

### Example use cases

- **Product research & dropshipping** — find products by keyword, then pull full detail
- **Competitive intelligence** — track a competitor's prices, discounts, sold counts, variants
- **Seller analysis** — crawl an entire storefront, not one product at a time
- **Quick sentiment read** — the reviews embedded on each product page, with images

### Good to know

- **US-first.** GB is experimental. TikTok decides which storefront to serve from the visitor's country, so the
  proxy must match the region you select.
- Read-only public data. Comply with GDPR/CCPA and applicable law where you operate.

### Related Actors

Fourteen Actors covering the whole public TikTok surface. Same billing rules and the same guarantees throughout: billed once for each row you receive, never billed for a run that found nothing, and told in the dataset why it found nothing.

# Actor input Schema

## `searchQueries` (type: `array`):

Keywords to search TikTok Shop. Paginates the results feed (typically ~30–60 products per keyword) — title, price, rating, sold count, seller. Bound the depth with 'Results per search keyword'. One per line.

## `productUrls` (type: `array`):

US product-detail URLs — shop.tiktok.com/us/pdp/x/… or www.tiktok.com/view/product/… — or bare numeric IDs. Returns full detail — description, all images, the SKU/variant matrix, specs, price, discount, rating, shop name — plus the ~3 reviews embedded in the page (with images). For the FULL review archive, use the dedicated Reviews Actor. One per line.

## `sellerUrls` (type: `array`):

Store URLs (https://shop.tiktok.com/us/store/x/\<seller\_id>) or bare numeric seller IDs. Crawls the store's full paginated catalogue. One per line.

## `region` (type: `string`):

Storefront region. TikTok enforces it by the egress IP's country, so the proxy must be in this country. US confirmed; GB experimental.

## `resultsPerSearch` (type: `integer`):

Caps products returned per keyword. Search paginates beyond the first page (load-more by cursor); most keywords have ~30–60 results total, and pagination stops when the feed is exhausted. Raise this to pull deeper where available.

## `maxProductsPerSeller` (type: `integer`):

Stops each seller-catalogue crawl at this many products.
