## Pricing

from $1.00 / 1,000 videos

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

Actors are web data automations that power AI and operations. They run on the Apify platform to scrape websites, process data, connect APIs, and automate workflows.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.
Actors are written with capital "A".

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.
The best way to integrate Actors is as follows.

- **AI agents and MCP clients** — the [Apify MCP server](https://docs.apify.com/integrations/mcp.md) at `https://mcp.apify.com` (remote, streamable HTTP, OAuth on first use).
- **Agentic workflows and local Actor development** — [Agent Skills](https://apify.com/.well-known/agent-skills/index.json) with the [Apify CLI](https://docs.apify.com/cli/docs.md): `npm install -g apify-cli`, then `apify login`.
- **JavaScript/TypeScript projects** — the official [JS/TS client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md): `npm install apify-client`.
- **Python projects** — the official [Python client](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md): `pip install apify-client`.
- **Any other language** — the [REST API](https://docs.apify.com/api/v2.md).

For usage examples, see the [API](#api) section below.

# README

### TikTok Video Downloader — no watermark MP4/MP3

Give it TikTok video URLs. Get back direct download links for the **no-watermark MP4**, the watermarked MP4, the
MP3 audio, all three cover images and the subtitles. Optionally it downloads the files and stores them for you.

No login, no cookies, no browser.

### Which file is actually the clean one

Most downloaders hand you a link and call it "no watermark". Here both are returned and labelled, with sizes, so
you can check:

| | bytes | resolution | |
|---|---|---|---|
| `noWatermarkUrl` | 8,830,851 | 576 × 1026 | the original upload |
| `watermarkedUrl` | 9,527,005 | 720 × 720 | the app's copy, mark burned in |

The larger file is the watermarked one — the mark is added, so it cannot be smaller. That is how the two are
told apart rather than trusted.

### The links expire — this is the part to plan for

TikTok's CDN links are **signed and expire within hours**. That is TikTok's behaviour, not this Actor's, and
every TikTok downloader shares it. Two ways to deal with it:

- **fetch the links right away** — they need no headers, no cookies and no referer, and support HTTP Range
- **turn on `Save the video file`** — the Actor downloads the MP4 and stores it, and the row gets a permanent
  link that does not expire

### How to use

1. Click **Try for free** at the top of this page. Apify creates a free account if you do not have one — no card is needed to run this.
2. Put what you want scraped into **Video URLs** — one per line.
3. Press **Start**.
4. Rows show up in the **Dataset** tab *while the run is still going*. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or XML from there, or read them over the API.

Leave **Save video files** off unless you want permanent copies: the links in every row are free, and saving is what costs the extra `file-stored` event.

### Input

| field | | |
|---|---|---|
| `videoUrls` | required | Full video URLs or bare numeric IDs, one per line |
| `includeCaptions` | default on | Subtitle links (WebVTT). Free — they are in the same response |
| `saveVideoFiles` | default off | Download and store the MP4, returning a permanent link |
| `videoVariant` | `no_watermark` | Which one to save. Both links are returned either way |
| `saveAudioFiles` | default off | Download and store the MP3 |
| `saveImageFiles` | default off | For photo posts: download and store every still without the watermark |
| `maxFileSizeMb` | 100 | Files above this are skipped with a note; the links are still returned |

Every field, with its default — paste the whole block and delete what you do not need:

```json
{
  "videoUrls": [
    "https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok/video/7283509500307442987"
  ],
  "includeCaptions": true,
  "saveVideoFiles": false,
  "videoVariant": "no_watermark",
  "saveAudioFiles": false,
  "saveImageFiles": false,
  "maxFileSizeMb": 100
}
```

### Output

One row per video.

| field | |
|---|---|
| `videoId`, `url`, `description`, `createdAt`, `durationMs`, `width`, `height` | |
| `authorUniqueId`, `authorNickname`, `authorSecUid` | |
| `noWatermarkUrl`, `noWatermarkSize`, `noWatermarkWidth`, `noWatermarkHeight` | |
| `watermarkedUrl`, `watermarkedSize`, `hasWatermark` | |
| `audioUrl`, `audioTitle`, `audioAuthor`, `audioDurationSec` | |
| `coverUrl`, `dynamicCoverUrl`, `originCoverUrl` | static, animated and full-size covers |
| `captions[]` | `{url, language, format, autoGenerated}` — direct WebVTT, no extra call |
| `isPhotoPost`, `imageTitle`, `imageCount` | photo posts (slideshows) |
| `images[]` | per slide: `noWatermarkUrls`, `formats`, `width`, `height`, `watermarkedUrl`, `thumbnailUrl`, `savedUrl` |
| `savedVideoUrl`, `savedAudioUrl`, `savedImageCount` | permanent links, when saving is on |
| `note` | why something is missing, when something is |

TikTok serves each asset from several CDN hosts; when saving files the Actor tries them in turn, so one dead
host does not cost you the file.

One row, exactly as it lands in your dataset (long signed CDN links shortened here for readability):

### Photo posts (slideshows) — the stills, not a video of them

A photo post gives you every slide as a separate image, without the watermark, at full resolution
(1080 × 1440 on the one measured). `isPhotoPost` says which rows are these, `imageCount` how many slides.

TikTok offers each slide as **both HEIC and WebP** and puts HEIC first. HEIC will not open in most tools, so
when saving files this Actor takes the **WebP**; both links are still in `noWatermarkUrls` with `formats`
telling you which is which, so you can choose differently.

You also get `watermarkedUrl` per slide for comparison — TikTok's own copy, with the creator's handle burned
into the image.

`noWatermarkUrl` on a photo-post row is TikTok's slideshow *video* render of the same images. It is left in
because it is occasionally what someone wants, and the row's `note` says exactly that.

- **`url` is the post's own link.** A slideshow points at `/photo/` and a video at `/video/`, so the
  column can be opened as-is rather than needing the post type checked first.

### Known limits, stated plainly

- Private, deleted and region-blocked videos produce a row with a `note` explaining the failure rather than
  breaking the run. Other videos in the same input are unaffected.
- Only public data. There is no login, so nothing hidden from a logged-out visitor is reachable.

#### Run it from your own code

Every Actor is an API endpoint. This starts a run, waits for it, and returns the rows in one call — swap in your token from **Settings → Integrations**:

```bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/mu0i~tiktok-video-downloader/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN' \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{
    "videoUrls": [
      "https://www.tiktok.com/@tiktok/video/7283509500307442987"
    ],
    "includeCaptions": true,
    "saveVideoFiles": false,
    "videoVariant": "no_watermark",
    "saveAudioFiles": false,
    "saveImageFiles": false,
    "maxFileSizeMb": 100
  }'
```

### Pricing

Pay per result — you are billed for rows you receive, not for time or compute.

| Event | Per 1,000 | What one unit is |
|---|---:|---|
| `video` | $2.50 | one video in the dataset |
| `file-stored` | $1.00 | one file saved to storage in the dataset |

**Paid Apify plans pay less than this.** The table above is the free-plan rate. Starter, Scale and Business each get a lower per-unit price — up to **60% off** on Business — and the Actor's Pricing tab shows every tier before you run anything.

**Starting a run costs $0.00002** — two cents per thousand runs — and there is no run minimum. (Apify bills
the start event per gigabyte of memory, and this Actor runs in 2 GB so it can hold a video while it works.)
**You are never billed for a run that found nothing.** If an input has nothing to collect the run says so
in a row of the dataset — never a silently empty result, and never a charge. A run that fails because the
data could not be *reached* fails loudly, because that one is worth retrying.

# Actor input Schema

## `videoUrls` (type: `array`):

Full video URLs (https://www.tiktok.com/@user/video/123…) or bare numeric video IDs. One per line.

## `includeCaptions` (type: `boolean`):

Subtitles come back as direct WebVTT links and cost nothing extra — they are already in the same response.

## `saveVideoFiles` (type: `boolean`):

Download the MP4 and store it, returning a permanent link instead of only TikTok's temporary one. TikTok's CDN links are signed and EXPIRE — turn this on if you are not fetching them immediately.

## `videoVariant` (type: `string`):

Only affects the saved file. Both links are always returned either way.

## `saveAudioFiles` (type: `boolean`):

Download the MP3 track and store it too.

## `saveImageFiles` (type: `boolean`):

For photo posts (slideshows), download every still image without the watermark and store it. Ignored for ordinary videos. WebP is preferred over HEIC when TikTok offers both, because HEIC will not open in most tools.

## `maxFileSizeMb` (type: `integer`):

A guard against one very long video consuming the whole run. Files above this are skipped and the row says so; the download links are still returned.

```
# Actor output Schema
## `results` (type: `string`):
One row per video, with no-watermark links.
## `files` (type: `string`):
MP4, MP3 and cover files, present only when Save video files is on.
