## Pricing

from $1.60 / 1,000 technology records

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## 6sense Tech Insights Export Processor

Process an **authorized 6sense Technographics Data Pack CSV** into normalized company-to-technology records. Filter by technology, category, account domain, or confidence, then export the results as JSON, CSV, or Excel from the Apify dataset.

This Actor processes a file you provide. It does not log in to 6sense, search the 6sense platform, or provide 6sense data you are not licensed to access. 6sense documents its Technographics Data Pack with CRM and 6sense account identifiers, technology name/category/subcategory, confidence, sources, and last-detected date. The processor maps those fields and keeps account-level and CRM-level identifiers separate.

### What it returns

Each dataset item represents one account-technology installation from the input export.

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `sixsenseMid`, `accountName`, `accountDomain`, `accountCountry` | 6sense company identifiers and attributes when present |
| `crmAccountId`, `crmAccountName`, `crmAccountDomain`, `crmAccountCountry` | CRM mapping fields when included in the export |
| `technologyName`, `technologyCategory`, `technologySubcategory` | Technology classification from 6sense |
| `confidenceScore` | Confidence normalized to 0–1; blank or invalid source values are `null` |
| `technologySources`, `lastDetectedAt` | Source description and last detected date when present |
| `sourceFile`, `sourceRow` | Generic input-file label and CSV record number for trace-back; signed URLs and original filenames are never copied to output |

The run's `SUMMARY` key reports the outcome (`DATA`, `EMPTY`, `BLOCKED`, `REJECTED`, or `FAILED`), files and rows processed, skipped/deduplicated counts, event count, and warnings.

### Input

Upload up to five CSV files in **CSV Uploads or Public URLs**, or supply HTTPS file URLs such as a private Apify Key-Value Store record URL. Put any signed or access-token URL in **Private or Signed CSV URL**; Apify encrypts that field. Small files can instead be pasted into **Small CSV Text**, which is also encrypted. Each remote file is limited to 10 MB, downloads time out after 20 seconds, and the Actor follows at most three redirects. It rejects non-HTTPS URLs and URLs that resolve to private or reserved network addresses.

The CSV should include a `Technology Name` column. The Actor recognizes the 6sense Data Pack names such as `6sense MID`, `6sense Account Domain`, `CRM Account ID`, `Technology Category`, `Technology Confidence Score`, `Technology Sources`, and `Technology Last Detected Date`. Header matching ignores case, spaces, and punctuation. It can read comma, tab, and semicolon-delimited exports.

```json
{
  "csvContent": "6sense MID,6sense Account Name,6sense Account Domain,Technology Name,Technology Category,Technology Confidence Score,Technology Sources,Technology Last Detected Date\nMID-12345,Example Company,example.com,Salesforce,CRM,0.92,HTML Source,2026-08-15",
  "technologyNames": ["Salesforce"],
  "maxResults": 100
}
```

Example for a file stored in Apify Key-Value Store:

```json
{
  "files": ["https://api.apify.com/v2/key-value-stores/STORE_ID/records/technographics.csv"],
  "technologyCategories": ["CRM"],
  "minimumConfidence": 0.7,
  "maxResults": 1000
}
```

The KVS URL is read with the run's Apify token and is not logged. For URLs outside Apify that require a signed query string, use the encrypted URL field. The Actor does not support custom authorization headers. Avoid public links for sensitive customer exports.

### Filters and limits

- `technologyNames`: exact, case-insensitive technology-name matches.
- `technologyCategories`: exact, case-insensitive 6sense category matches.
- `accountDomains`: exact domains; hostnames are normalized from full URLs.
- `minimumConfidence`: inclusive normalized score from 0 to 1. If a source uses percentages from 0 to 100, values are divided by 100.
- `maxResults`: requested output count, up to 10,000. Free-plan runs deliver at most 5 records.
- Duplicate account/technology/date combinations are written once. The Actor never invents records to fill the limit.

Rows that lack a technology name are skipped. Unreadable files or headers that do not contain `Technology Name` are reported in `SUMMARY`. A valid export that has no rows matching the selected filters is an `EMPTY` outcome.

### Pay-per-event prices

The deployed all-in schedule charges an automatic `apify-actor-start` event per run and one automatic `apify-default-dataset-item` event per dataset result. The Actor runs at 256–512 MB, so the start event is one charge per run. There is no separate provider or proxy fee. Platform-usage pass-through is disabled. `PLATINUM` and `DIAMOND` use the GOLD rates.

| Event | FREE | BRONZE | SILVER | GOLD |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: |
| Actor start | $0.005 | $0.005 | $0.005 | $0.005 |
| Technology record | $0.002 | $0.00195 | $0.00190 | $0.00160 |

Representative event totals are $0.007 for one result, $0.025 for ten results, and $2.005 for 1,000 results at FREE tier. Free-plan runs are capped at five results, so their maximum is $0.015 per run. These totals exclude Apify platform usage, which is currently covered by the Actor owner.

### Privacy and permitted use

Use only exports your organization is authorized to process under its 6sense subscription and applicable privacy, contract, and data-retention requirements. The CSV may contain CRM identifiers and licensed company intelligence. The Actor does not contact 6sense with the records. Uploaded files and output datasets are stored by Apify for the run according to the account's storage settings; delete or retain them in line with your organization's policy.

### Support

If a valid export is rejected, check that its header row contains a technology-name column and that the file is UTF-8 CSV. Include the redacted `SUMMARY` outcome and warning when reporting a problem; do not share API tokens, signed file URLs, or private customer rows.

# Actor input Schema

## `files` (type: `array`):

Use this for authorized 6sense Technographics CSV exports. Upload files or provide HTTPS URLs without access tokens or signatures, such as a private Apify Key-Value Store record URL. Maximum 5 sources total, processed sequentially. Do not use data you are not licensed to process.

## `csvUrl` (type: `string`):

Use this secret field for one authorized HTTPS CSV URL that contains a signed query string or requires Apify KVS access. Apify encrypts the value. Do not paste URLs for data you are not licensed to process.

## `csvContent` (type: `string`):

Use this for a small CSV export or test subset when you cannot upload a file. Values are stored encrypted by Apify. Leave blank when using CSV Files or URLs. Maximum 1 MB.

## `technologyNames` (type: `array`):

Filter to exact technology names, case-insensitive, such as Salesforce or Marketo. Leave empty to include every technology in the export.

## `technologyCategories` (type: `array`):

Filter to exact 6sense technology categories, case-insensitive. Leave empty to include every category.

## `accountDomains` (type: `array`):

Filter to exact account domains, for example acme.com. A full URL is accepted and normalized to its hostname. Leave empty to include all accounts.

## `minimumConfidence` (type: `number`):

Include only detections at or above this normalized 0–1 score. Leave unset to keep all scores. 6sense exports expressed as 0–100 are normalized to 0–1.

## `delimiter` (type: `string`):

Choose the delimiter used by the export. Auto detects comma, tab, or semicolon from the header row.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum unique technology-install records to write. Paid-plan runs allow up to 10,000. Free-plan runs are capped at 5 total records per run.
