## Angi (Angie's List) Scraper

Extract public home-service provider listings, ratings, company details, and reviews from Angi.com. Start from an Angi directory/company URL or generate a category URL from a US state, city, and category slug.

### What it extracts

- Provider name and canonical Angi profile URL
- Rating, review count, and recommendation percentage
- Categories, company description, public phone, and address/service area
- Years in business and Angi Approved status when displayed
- A configurable number of public review excerpts
- Source URL/category and UTC scrape timestamp

### Input

The default input searches the public plumbing directory for Austin, Texas and returns one enriched provider. For precise or uncommon categories, copy a public Angi URL into `startUrls`.

### Output

Each default-dataset item represents one unique provider. `OUTPUT` in the default key-value store contains the run outcome (`DATA`, `EMPTY`, `BLOCKED`, `REJECTED`, or `FAILED`), counts, and warnings.

### Reliability and responsible use

Angi uses Cloudflare and commonly blocks datacenter traffic, so US residential proxy routing is the default. The Actor uses one coherent browser session, conservative concurrency, and bounded retries. It does not solve CAPTCHAs, use authenticated sessions, reveal gated contact information, or fabricate results when access is blocked. Scrape only public information and follow applicable law, privacy rules, and Angi's terms.

### Pricing
