## Pricing

from $16.00 / 1,000 results

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

## StepStone Jobs Scraper — Listings, Salaries & Company Data

StepStone Jobs Scraper returns job listings from StepStone Germany, Austria and Belgium: title, company, location, salary (when shown or estimated by StepStone), remote status, posting date, a description snippet and the job URL. It is built for recruiters, HR analysts and job-market researchers, and costs about USD 20 per 1,000 jobs on the FREE tier (USD 16 per 1,000 on GOLD).

### What data does it return?

One dataset row per job:

| Field | What it contains |
|---|---|
| `jobId` | StepStone job ID |
| `title` | Job title |
| `company` | Employer name |
| `location` | Job location as StepStone lists it |
| `description` | Job summary shown in the search result (a few sentences, not the full posting) |
| `jobUrl` | Job page on StepStone, without tracking parameters |
| `companyUrl` | Employer profile on StepStone, or `null` |
| `salary` | Salary text such as `€68,824–€82,589 per year`, or `null` |
| `salaryIsEstimate` | `true` when the salary is StepStone's own estimate rather than the employer's figure |
| `jobType` | `Full-time`, `Part-time`, `Internship`, `Apprenticeship`, `Contract` or `Freelance` when the title says so, else `null` |
| `workFromHome` | `on site`, `partially remote` or `fully remote` |
| `postedDate` | Posting date (ISO 8601) |
| `matchType` | StepStone's result group: `main` for direct matches, `regional` or `semantic` for nearby or related jobs |
| `countryCode`, `scrapedAt`, `searchQuery` | Country site, collection time and the search that found the job |

### How do I scrape StepStone jobs?

1. **Job Search Queries:** one or more titles or keywords, for example `Data Scientist` or `Buchhalter`.
2. **Locations:** optional cities, for example `Berlin` or `Wien`. Every query runs in every location.
3. **StepStone Country:** `de`, `at` or `be`.
4. **Max Results:** jobs per query and location, 1–200 (StepStone shows 25 per page).
5. **Date Posted:** `any`, `24h`, `week` or `month`.

```json
{
  "searchQueries": ["Data Scientist"],
  "locations": ["Berlin", "München"],
  "countryCode": "de",
  "maxResults": 50,
  "datePosted": "week"
}
```

Output example (one row):

```json
{
  "jobId": "14712984",
  "title": "Referentin/Referent Data Scientist (m/w/d)",
  "company": "BG BAU - Berufsgenossenschaft der Bauwirtschaft",
  "location": "Berlin",
  "description": "BG BAU ist die Berufsgenossenschaft der Bauwirtschaft und sorgt für Sicherheit und Gesundheit in der Baubranche. Gesucht wird eine Referenti …",
  "jobUrl": "https://www.stepstone.de/stellenangebote--Referentin-Referent-Data-Scientist-m-w-d-Berlin-BG-BAU-Berufsgenossenschaft-der-Bauwirtschaft--14712984-inline.html",
  "companyUrl": "https://www.stepstone.de/cmp/de/bg-bau-berufsgenossenschaft-der-bauwirtschaft-172774/jobs",
  "salary": "€68,824–€82,589 per year",
  "salaryIsEstimate": true,
  "jobType": null,
  "workFromHome": "partially remote",
  "postedDate": "2026-11-03T16:30:35.763Z",
  "matchType": "main",
  "countryCode": "de",
  "scrapedAt": "2026-11-04T02:10:00.000Z",
  "searchQuery": "Data Scientist in Berlin"
}
```

### How much does it cost?

Pay per event, with platform usage included:

| Event | FREE | BRONZE | SILVER | GOLD |
|---|---:|---:|---:|---:|
| Result (one job in the dataset) | USD 0.020001 | USD 0.0195 | USD 0.019 | USD 0.016 |
| Actor start (per started GB of allocated memory) | USD 0.006251 | USD 0.006094 | USD 0.005938 | USD 0.005 |

At the default 256 MB, 50 jobs cost 50 × USD 0.020001 + USD 0.006251 ≈ **USD 1.01** on the FREE tier.

### When should I use something else?

- You need the full job description text: this Actor returns the summary shown in search results.
- You need StepStone Netherlands, France or Ireland: those sites no longer run a StepStone job board.

### FAQ

#### Which countries are supported?

Germany (`de`), Austria (`at`) and Belgium (`be`).

#### Why do some jobs come from other cities or related titles?

StepStone adds nearby and related jobs to its results. `matchType` tells them apart: `main` rows match the query directly.

#### Is the salary the employer's figure?

Only when `salaryIsEstimate` is `false`. StepStone estimates a range for many listings; those rows have `salaryIsEstimate: true`.

#### Use it from an AI assistant

Add `https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=muhammadafzal/stepstone-jobs-scraper` to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client and ask, for example, "List 30 data scientist jobs in Berlin posted this week."
