## Pricing

from $16.00 / 1,000 streeteasy listings

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.
Since this Actor supports Apify Store discounts, the price gets lower the higher subscription plan you have.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## StreetEasy Scraper

Extract sale and rental listing summaries from StreetEasy search pages that you are authorized to process. The Actor accepts existing `/for-sale/` and `/for-rent/` URLs, paginates within a bounded limit, deduplicates listings by canonical URL, and writes one row per listing to the default dataset.

### Input

```json
{
  "startUrls": [{ "url": "https://streeteasy.com/for-sale/manhattan" }],
  "maxResults": 20,
  "maxPages": 2
}
```

You can supply up to ten search URLs, including filters you set on StreetEasy. Only `https://streeteasy.com/for-sale/...` and `https://streeteasy.com/for-rent/...` are accepted. The Actor adds a bounded page number and does not log into accounts, save searches, contact brokers, solve challenges, or collect private data.

### Output

Each delivered row contains the listing URL, address, sale or rental type, asking price, beds, baths, area, neighborhood, property type, brokerage, search URL, and UTC scrape time. Optional values are `null` when the source page does not show them. The `OUTPUT` key-value record contains status (`data`, `partial`, `empty`, `blocked`, `rejected`, or `failed`), delivered count, attempted pages, warnings, and stop reason. A successful container exit with `blocked` or `failed` status is **not** a successful data extraction.

The Actor stops after `maxResults`, `maxPages`, its event-charge budget, or the verified Apify free-plan ceiling of five delivered listings. It retries transient failures once. If StreetEasy presents an access challenge, the Actor reports `blocked` and does not fabricate records or charge listing events.

### Pricing

The private development configuration uses Pay per event with a synthetic start event and one synthetic default-dataset-item event per delivered listing. No event is charged manually. Prices are provisional until settled cloud cost and live monetization are verified.

| Event | FREE | BRONZE | SILVER | GOLD |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: |
| Actor start | $0.0500 | $0.04875 | $0.0475 | $0.0400 |
| Delivered listing | $0.0200 | $0.0195 | $0.0190 | $0.0160 |

BRONZE, SILVER, and GOLD discounts are 2.5%, 5%, and 20% from FREE. PLATINUM and DIAMOND use the GOLD prices. At FREE prices, one listing costs $0.07 and twenty listings cost $0.45 in event fees. The configured charge limit may reduce the number delivered. Platform usage pass-through must stay disabled in live monetization.

### Access and accuracy

Use this Actor only where you have permission for automated access and downstream use. Zillow's terms cover StreetEasy and restrict automated collection absent permission. StreetEasy can change markup or present an access challenge. The Actor preserves partial valid results, identifies challenges separately from true empty results, and exposes the source URL for verification. Listing availability and prices can change after extraction.

This Actor remains private during development. No affiliation with or endorsement by StreetEasy or Zillow is claimed.

# Actor input Schema

## `startUrls` (type: `array`):

Use one or more StreetEasy /for-sale/ or /for-rent/ search URLs. Example: https://streeteasy.com/for-sale/manhattan. Other domains and account pages are rejected.

## `maxResults` (type: `integer`):

Maximum unique listings across all URLs; default 20, range 1–200. A verified free-plan run is capped at 5.

## `maxPages` (type: `integer`):

Maximum search-result pages per start URL; default 2, range 1–10. Stops early when the result limit is met.

    ]
};

// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("muhammadafzal/street-easy-scraper").call(input);

// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
