## Pricing

$5.00 / 1,000 processed job sources

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Job Posting Change and New Vacancy Monitor

Extract jobs from Greenhouse public APIs and JobPosting JSON-LD pages and compare snapshots across scheduled runs. Export new, changed, unchanged and missing vacancies with salary, location, remote flags and source URLs.

### Quick start

Enter the required input, set a maximum output limit and spending cap, then run. Export JSON, CSV or Excel from the dataset. REPORT and EXPORT-CSV are also saved in the run key-value store.

```json
{
  "urls": [
    "https://boards-api.greenhouse.io/v1/boards/twilio/jobs?content=true"
  ],
  "maxResults": 20
}
```

### Output and price

A source summary precedes its data records. Launch price: $0.005 per successfully processed source, including platform usage. One source means one page, video, keyword/platform search, or submitted review batch, depending on this tool. No additional per-row charge. A successful search with zero matches is still processed and charged. Failed and robots-blocked sources are not charged. The output limit includes summary records.

### Coverage and limitations

This implementation selects the jobs branch of the workbook idea; it is not a real-estate or flight scraper. Accepts official Greenhouse public job-board API URLs, or JobPosting JSON-LD in submitted server HTML. No external job boards are crawled automatically. Submit individual job pages if the search page has no markup. Missing means absent from the submitted page, not confirmed closed.

### Scheduling and state

This Actor can be called through the Apify API and connected using https://mcp.apify.com/. No owner-side schedule or message delivery is created automatically. Monitoring tools compare runs only when you supply the same monitorId and source list. The baseline is saved in a named key-value store owned by the calling Apify account. Use sequential runs, not overlapping concurrent runs, for one monitor. Changing a source list or keyword configuration creates a new baseline. Review the storage retention settings in your account. Without monitorId, the run is stateless. State is updated only after output has been saved; truncated sources retain their old baseline to avoid losing unreported alerts.

### Responsible operation

Public pages only. Connections reject private/reserved destinations and unsafe redirects. HTML sources respect robots.txt and crawl delays. Max 20 URLs, 10 keywords, 20 videos or 500 reviews, and 1,000 output records; responses are capped at 5 MB. No arbitrary links from source documents are fetched. Keep optional API credentials in secret input fields and never put them in a URL or public listing. No third-party credentials or paid provider plan is bundled.

### Data and maintenance

Outputs belong to the calling account and follow its retention settings. External sites and APIs may change. Source text is treated as data, not instructions. No revenue, payout, continued source availability or customer demand is guaranteed.

# API

You can run this Actor programmatically using our API. Below are code examples in JavaScript, Python, and CLI, as well as the OpenAPI specification and MCP server setup.

## JavaScript example

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
// Initialize the ApifyClient with your Apify API token
// Replace the '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>' with your token
const client = new ApifyClient({
    token: '<YOUR_API_TOKEN>',
});
// Prepare Actor input
const input = {
    "urls": [
        "https://boards-api.greenhouse.io/v1/boards/twilio/jobs?content=true"
    ]
};
// Run the Actor and wait for it to finish
const run = await client.actor("muntasir2000/job-posting-change-watch").call(input);
// Fetch and print Actor results from the run's dataset (if any)
console.log('Results from dataset');
console.log(`💾 Check your data here: https://console.apify.com/storage/datasets/${run.defaultDatasetId}`);
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
items.forEach((item) => {
    console.dir(item);
});
