## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Shopify Scraper

Scrape **any Shopify store's product catalog** by URL — **titles, variants, SKUs, prices, availability, images, tags** — with **no API key**. A fast way to build competitor catalogs, monitor prices, and power dropshipping research.

Paste a store domain (or a `/collections/...` URL), get a clean product table ready to export to CSV, Excel, or JSON.

### Features

- **Full catalog, structured** — every product with its variants, SKUs, prices, compare-at prices, stock status, images, vendor, type, and tags.
- **Fast and low-cost** — reads each store's public `products.json`, so runs finish in seconds.
- **No API key, no store access** — works on any public Shopify storefront without permission or tokens.
- **Whole store or one collection** — pass a domain for the full catalog, or a `/collections/<handle>` URL to scrape just that collection.

### Use cases

- **Price & catalog monitoring** — track a competitor's prices, new products, and stock over time.
- **Dropshipping research** — export supplier catalogs with SKUs and variants.
- **Market analysis** — compare assortments, price bands, and vendors across stores.
- **Data enrichment** — pull product details for a list of stores you already track.

### Input

| Field | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `storeUrls` | list | Shopify store domains or URLs. A `/collections/<handle>` URL scrapes just that collection. |
| `maxItems` | integer | Max products per store. Default 1000. |

#### Example

```json
{
  "storeUrls": [
    { "url": "https://gymshark.com" },
    { "url": "https://www.allbirds.com/collections/mens" }
  ],
  "maxItems": 500
}
```

### Output

```json
{
  "store": "allbirds.com",
  "title": "Men's Cruiser - Shadow Blue",
  "handle": "mens-cruiser-shadow-blue",
  "url": "https://allbirds.com/products/mens-cruiser-shadow-blue",
  "vendor": "Allbirds",
  "productType": "Shoes",
  "tags": ["mens", "cruiser"],
  "price": 105,
  "priceMax": 105,
  "compareAtPrice": null,
  "available": true,
  "variantsCount": 13,
  "variants": [
    { "title": "8", "sku": "A12856M080", "price": 105, "compareAtPrice": null, "available": true, "options": ["8"] }
  ],
  "images": ["https://cdn.shopify.com/..."],
  "scrapedAt": "2026-08-11T18:00:00.000Z"
}
```

Download the dataset as **JSON, CSV, Excel, or XML**, or pull it via the Apify API.

### Pricing

Pay-per-event: **$0.01 per run start** (per GB of run memory) plus **$0.50 per 1,000 products**. You only pay for products actually returned. See the **Pricing** tab for current rates.

### FAQ

**Which stores work?**
Any store built on Shopify that exposes the standard public `products.json` (the vast majority). Password-protected or specially locked-down storefronts won't return data.

**How do I scrape just one collection?**
Use a collection URL like `https://store.com/collections/sale` — the Actor scrapes only that collection.

**How do I know a store is on Shopify?**
Add `/products.json` to its domain in a browser. If you get JSON with products, this Actor will work.

**Can I export to CSV or Excel?**
Yes. Every run's dataset downloads as CSV, Excel, JSON, or XML, or via the Apify API.

# Actor input Schema

## `storeUrls` (type: `array`):

Shopify store domains or URLs, e.g. gymshark.com. A /collections/<handle> URL scrapes just that collection.

## `maxItems` (type: `integer`):

    }
  ],
  "maxItems": 100
}
