## Pricing

from $0.10 / 1,000 jobs

This Actor is paid per event. You are not charged for the Apify platform usage, but only a fixed price for specific events.

## What's an Apify Actor?

An Actor is a serverless cloud program that runs on the Apify platform. It has two run modes.
In Batch mode, an Actor accepts a well-defined JSON input, performs an action which can take anything from a few seconds to a few hours,
and optionally produces a well-defined JSON output, datasets with results, or files in key-value store.
In Standby mode, an Actor provides a web server which can be used as a website, API, or an MCP server.

Apify vocabulary and the platform model are defined once, in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md.

## How to integrate an Actor?

If asked about integration, you help developers integrate Actors into their projects.
You adapt to their stack and deliver integrations that are safe, well-documented, and production-ready.

Do not guess an integration path. Every one of them is in the agent quickstart at https://apify.com/agents.md: the Apify MCP server, Agent Skills with the Apify CLI, the JavaScript and Python clients, the REST API, and the account-free path for an agent with no human to sign in. It also carries the rule on stating cost before the first paid run.

For examples already wired to this Actor's own input schema, see the [API](#api) section below.

Each client library has reference documentation the quickstart does not restate: [JavaScript/TypeScript](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/js/docs.md) (`npm install apify-client`) and [Python](https://docs.apify.com/api/client/python/docs.md) (`pip install apify-client`).

# README

## Remote Jobs Scraper

Remote job listings from two public feeds in one list: Remote OK and Jobicy.

Each job has its title, company, tags, location, salary range when given, posted date, source name and the original link. Turn on **Include job description** for the full text. Use **Keywords** to keep only the roles you want, and **Only new jobs** with a daily schedule to get each day's new openings.

### Credit and links

- Remote OK asks that you link back to the job on Remote OK (followed link) and name Remote OK as the source. Every job here carries a `source` field, an `attribution` line and the original `url`. Keep them if you show the jobs publicly.
- Jobicy asks for credit, and its apply links must lead to the job page on Jobicy. The `url` and `applyUrl` of Jobicy jobs are those pages.

### Notes

- The feeds update through the day; Jobicy asks for no more than one automated pass per hour, so avoid scheduling this more often than hourly.
- Salary is blank when the source gives none.

### Pricing

Remote Jobs Scraper uses pay per event. You pay $0.005 to start a run and $0.0001 for each job, so 1,000 jobs cost about $0.105. There is no monthly fee. Set a maximum cost on a run and it stops cleanly when it reaches it.

### Use cases

- Get a daily list of new remote jobs that match your skills.
- Feed a remote job board or newsletter with fresh listings.
- Track salary ranges and tags across remote roles.
- Compare which companies hire remotely, by keyword and country.

### Use it from Python or JavaScript

Every Apify actor has an API. Replace the token with yours from the Apify Console.

```python
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN")
run = client.actor("My_agent_C/remote-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={
  "sources": [
    "remoteok",
    "jobicy"
  ],
  "keywords": [
    "engineer",
    "python"
  ],
  "maxJobs": 100,
  "onlyNew": True
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items
```

```javascript
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('My_agent_C/remote-jobs-scraper').call({
  "sources": [
    "remoteok",
    "jobicy"
  ],
  "keywords": [
    "engineer",
    "python"
  ],
  "maxJobs": 100,
  "onlyNew": true
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
```

You can also run it on a schedule, send results to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make or n8n, or call it from an AI agent through the Apify MCP server.

#### More questions

**How do I scrape remote jobs?** Pick the sources, add keywords, and run the actor. It reads the public Remote OK and Jobicy feeds and returns one combined list.

**Can I get only new remote jobs each day?** Yes. Turn on Only new jobs and schedule a daily run.

**Does it include salaries?** Yes, when the listing gives a salary range.
